No follow through required? How about that nice little foot kick at the end? I would definitely classify that as not only important, but follow through. not a bad vid tho.
I like this video so much I wish I could rate it twice. Thank you for this video and all the others on the channel. This makes me want to go disc golf right now, and pick up a new innova on the way ;D
Dave Dunipace you are my hero. I have so many instructional videos which have been counterproductive to my putting style. Your video takes me back to where it all began. What you are showing is my natural putt before I looked for instruction elsewhere. Other putting styles do not feel natural to me however your video shows me a natural putt that I can have success with.
Discraft is certainly not putting out bogus instruction. A lot of those videos are the templates for clinics involving innova, discraft, and other companies players and representatives. In fact I've had several pros get on me about using my power grip (like dunapiece here) while putting. In fact if you watch any of the videos with Innova players putting instruction you'll see Climo contradict almost all of this and Feldberg with Cam Todd suggest pretty different styles.
@cfair The point is practice and finding what'll work for you. Feldberg even says he can't do it like Cam he had to modify it because there are lots of little elements that everyone has to try and if this is working for you GREAT man, I'm glad but it remains that most pros putt more akin to what you'll see in a Discraft video than here.
Way better instructional videos, then Discraft. They are putting their name on a lot of bogus instruction. This got me three extra birdies yesterday. I so was reaching out too far to the basket. It so makes sense to me now why now, the disc left before I snapped my wrist.
Maybe I missed it, but what is the grip itself? It looked like you had your 2nd & 3rd fingers out straight, but I couldn't make it out? Thanks!
