Is anyone else tired of seeing commercials that try to convince you how "fun" and "cool" it is to drive a gas hog? Sales of these traveling oil suckermobiles are way down for ALL car makers, so why don't they ALL save some of the millions they spend on advertising and hire a couple dozen engineers to design something useful instead?

you're stuck in the old days, size doesn't matter anymore, you have SUV's, full size SUV's that average 25+ miles to the gallon, you have hybrid SUV's and you might even get hydrogen fuelcell SUV's soon.. gas hogs no more.

That's all nice stuff to wish for. But check out the official Toyota page... if there are SUVs that get 25 mpg. This one isn't it... try 14/17.  It's way cheaper for them to advertise and try to convince people how great their life will be if they own this car, than to actually build better cars. Not just Toyota, they ALL do it.
