I've watched this so many times. It still blows my mind. The raised platform really projects those percussive steps, and it sounds great. Nic's timing is impeccable on this decently complex tune. The kids in the back couldn't look more disinterested, which is a shame. Luckily someone had the good sense to film it and put it on youtube.

Super video! We love Salyer tunes in SE PA. And it's nice to see some old time dancing - I haven't made it down south to the festivals or old time school last two summers and I miss seeing that. One night at Swannanoa there was jam with Molsky, Bruce Green, Rayna Gellert, and other well known musicians with Ira Bernstein dancing. What a night.
