  • I'm Carlos, I got my R.N. license in July 2010. It is now Dec. 2011 and I haven't been able to find a job. I was about ready to give up searching for a job out there, but these videos always put me right back on track. This is why I got into nursing, this is why I should keep looking for a job, and this is where I want to be. This is what I want to be for the rest of my life...A nurse. Thanks.

  • amazing video, very inspiring..I cried through all 3 parts! I'm an RN student and it's always good feedback from my patients that keeps me going when I want to give up. This video captures the essence of why I am in nursing.

  • @smadgirl Thank you for your comment!

  • Hey, I'm Markie and I'm a senior nursing student from the Philippines at Trinity-St. Luke's College of Nursing. I just want you to know and to say that this video--this very special and endearing video--touched my heart very much, and made me realize again all my reasons why I'd decided to become a nurse someday. I'm just happy that I've watched this video in perfect timing. I realized that nursing isn't just knowledge and skills, but caring in most part. I'll be watching this vid all forever.

  • @markiecubos Thanks so much!

  • a heart that is full of service is a nurse, nurse full of compassion can change the condition of the patient. tough job but can make lives make a difference...

I'm a filipino, we filipinos does need financials but our hands are made to care.... we filipinos are born to be a servant for the people not for such any other things..

  • I'm a certified nurse and midwife (Bachelor, Europe) but the truth is: I don't really like it. It's such hard work (especially fysically)!! The band you have with the patients is nice but I don't think it's where my heart is.

  • Im a 1st year student nurse in England and i love what i do and the decision to go in nursing was one of the best decision of my life and i hope i can give what these nurses gave to their patient to mine and to make a diffrent to someones life. thats realy what its all about

  • i have watched all the 2 vidz and truly a heart warming im a student nurse graduating this sem and im so glad i made the most important decision...im so happy

  • Wow, great videos, watched all 3 videos. Right now I am working on pre-req's and hope to be in clinical study in the fall of 2010. I've been debating for quite some time between Nurse Practitioner and/or Med school. I'm leaning more toward NP though. Look forward to eventually becoming a male nurse.

  • Thanks for sharing that.

  • This just made me realize that i actually have made the most important decision in my life and that is becoming a nurse. I'm 24 and have just started in clinical practice and I'm so excited for the rest of my career for the chance to become a part of patients' lives beyond the nurse-patient relationship. Thank you JnJ for this wonderful video!

  • Thanks for your great comment and commitment to nursing.

  • my dad died from leukemia 3 months ago. he was sick for 3 years. i'm currently going into my 3rd year of nursing college in ireland. nurses are important to the patients. they are their advocates.if you've had someone close to you pass away you'll appreciate them even more.i shall treat all my patients the way my dad was treated....with the up-most respect and care!!

  • This is a very touching video... J&J is putting the "care" back in healthcare. :)

  • To begin with, nothing makes me want to cry more, or breaks my heart, than seeing an ill child, especially one with cancer. I'm 43 and a cancer survivor. I agree that nurses make all the difference. I was hospitalized for (2) months straight and the attentive, caring nurses made all the difference, however, the dismissive, angry ones, made for some very long and lonely nights. Great video J&J! I hope the new nurses that see it take heed.

  • Thank you for your comment and for sharing your story.

  • I LOVE this video, and I CANNOT WAIT to become a peds oncology RN in August!!!! :)

  • Thanks! Best of luck.

  • It is truly an amazing career choice. I was a pediatric oncology nurse for many years. All the very best.
