How to knock someone out in 10 seconds: 1.Get inside their defenses 2.Clap their ears to confuse and disorient 3.Jab their eyes 4.Using your elbow, break their nose 5.Strike to the throat 6.Punch to the liver 7.Knee them balls (if male) 8.Kick the inside of their left leg to damage major arteries 9.Put one hand behind their knee and punch where the bottom of the knee cap ends 10.Sweep their feet out from under them 11.Use the gravity elbow to hit in between their ribs.
My question was always on this tech,, why go to the ground with the attacker when you already tossed him to the ground and hit him square with the elbow. Good in competitions thou or on a mat, Streets, no thanks, I will stay standing while they hit the ground.
that block left you too open without you covering with the other hand and tucking your chin. but it could work, the block and elbow i mean. the judo toss is not needed. after you through the elbow you can lock up in the muay thai clinch then do the wrestling move which is called a duck under. where you shuck the guys elbow step to the side while you have your right or left hand around the back of the head, then pull down and drop your weight. from there you have his back. and RNC haha
Not to hate or anything and Muay Thai looks like a superb combat sport/martial art. But I love how they call the elbow strike a "Muay Thai elbow" when elbow strikes have been used in Karate and other such traditional martial arts for litterally AGES! Lol.
This would be affective on a average Joe not a trained fighter seems hes teaching self defense which is different from MMA training this seems to robotic not fluid movement but this is still a good vid if u need basics.
Decent Video-Learn how to enunciate the different types of martial arts. Don't forget to raise your hips up when applying the arm bar, and put the other leg over his chest to keep him from rolling out.
there is no way you can get that, i mean it's possible if the guy is tired shitless. first off he blocked wrong..... was that like a karate block? then that wasn't a thai elbow.. and you can't do the throw after the elbow bc the arm you're elbowing with is the arm you need to do the throw, by the time you extend your arm from the elbow and grab him he'll most likley be out of your way.
no everything he says int he video is possible i mean its not likely youll be able to do it but like if royce gracie or really any highier belt in juitsu could do it i mean really its all about momentum and keeping the guy off balance i mean you dont pause like he does so its possible not likely butpossible
@1elementskater1 Yeah well, i confused some dutch and english. in combinatie with some fast typing resulting in those mistakes. please forgive me master.
@mizzie213...... dude; no. the 'sport' of mma relies on muay thai, boxing, wresteling and BRAZILLIAN jiujitsu. NOT japanese jujitsu, which is based around self defence and common 'haymakers'. and btw; i take my blackbelt in jap-jitsu at the end of this week, and my purple in bjj later this month, i think i know what im talking about.
@mgbrawl... Hey my fault I didn't take into consideration the diff types of jujitsu. Unlike most youtube "debates" I'll admitt when I'm wrong haha so my bad... But just wondering.. why isn't jap jujitsu part of the mixture of MMA? I'm not a pro mma fighter or anything so excuse my lack of knowlage. I'm just recently getting into it in real life after being a fan for so long.
@mizzie213 no problem, srry if came off as a dick. just used to being defensive with most people on here. japjitsu is almost exclusivly self defense stuff. it makes use of 'the fence' to prevent sucker punches, pre-emptive strikes including sucker strikes, eye gouges and throat attacks. which is illegal in mma. it uses throws very similar to judo, but sets them up with the above mentioned rather than frm grappeling, and weapon defenses. because of this, its unsuitable & difficult 2 use in mma.
@mizzie213...... dude; no. the 'sport' of mma relies on muay thai, boxing, wresteling and BRAZILLIAN jiujitsu. ps. before you initiate the armbar, remember to tell the friends of the person your fighting to kindly not step on your head during the course of the submission.
yea but once u put ur arm there to block the puch wouldnt ur opponent either back off or do another punch with the other hand? i would try to dip the punch and do the takedown from there
dear friend looks good when you work with a dummy !!! if a person threw a hook or sucker punch it wont be easy to elbow in the face while all your lower body is in danger when you drop him to the ground watch your head and your face your can easily get kicked in your face or in forehead i dont know what your teaching your students i believe balance is the most import faze of any sport by the way why should you drop someone to the ground while you can finish him while he stand
First of all when you block that right punch the other fighter could throw a knockout left because your face is not being blocked. Second of all when he gets the other guy in an arm bar his right leg should be over is abdomin area making the arm bar tighter... Stop uploading these videos if your not going to execute the moves properly.
@xTreMeLeeT Agreed! This is what the website asked me to do, so I did what they asked! In real life, I'd do it much differently then what you see here, as would anyone who knows the fight game. Thanks
thats a really good combo but the koshi guruma doesnt go 2 well with teh combo, when ever u blcok teh arm u see his arm is open?, u could send teh elbow and tehn go for a ippon seoi instead of teh koshi but stilll, very nice combo.
dude what makes u think this doesnt work, no mma fighter is gonna give it to you that easy duhhh they are trained to whoop yer ass as well in many differetn ways thats why mma fights dont last 10 sec you wouldnt even be in tv
this is mma one variation out of a milion, obviously that combo is designed for some one who doesn't know how to fight in order to be as easy as shown. its not easy to find openings when your opponent is alerted that you know some techniques. You cant compare one drill to a whole fight, because you opponent could go to the ground and scramble out. will work if someone is not ready for your counter attack
@brian98191 I know that 99% of the trainers and so called professionals I have trained with were completely baffled when they realized I didn't pull my style out of a book and they didn't know what to do.
This actually works. Nothing works all the time, but this is good sound advise. "Especially," the arm bar at the end. Royce Gracie must have used this 100 times in early MMA. The arm bar is standard BJJ and I use it all the time... actually, I use all three of these things regularly. It's just mat time: The more you practice, the more it becomes second nature. Seriously, these guys really know their stuff.
i was thinking if you did this when some guy comes up to you on the street and trys to belt you, well after you block him elbow him and throw him your still in a good position to run like hell, but if you do the armbar, then your on the ground in prime position for his mates to run in and start kicking your head in. but if you used this in somthing like an MMA comp it would work good i suppose.
You are right. In a street fight, with multiple mates on his side. I would do just what you said. But if he was alone, I'd still likely take the arm, only because I always try to avoid fights on the streets. So, if someone forces me into a situation I don't want and tried to avoid, I'm with Bas Rutten: "I believe in two eyes for an eye."
Yeah if he's alone then Armbar away, but unfortunatly people who try and pick fights for no reson on the street are ussally scummers who have knifes n stuff which puts people who fight, resonably fairly at a great dissadvantage
If you get the chance, check-out Bas Rutten's , self defense against a knife attack, and Kav Maga defense against knives. It's good stuff. Personally, I'll run like hell if someone pulls a knife on me, and I'm man enough to admit it. But if you are cornered, with no escape, it's worth knowing. I practice the drills from time to time just in case it happens.
I think this combo would not be effective mostly because you leave yourself open and expose many holes.
Sure you could block the first punch, the way you did, but if you are too slow or fighting an experienced fighter they will not let you hold their right arm like that while you throw elbows.. I know I wouldn't
This seems more like a discipline based karate self defense plac that's calling itself mma, because this whole thing was taught as a combination hoping your opponent dis the exact right shit to make it work, mma teaching is more like, here is the sweet stuff from all the martial arts learn them and know them by heart and use when necessary
our teachers just take from all fighting disciplines and teache us whatever is effective. this includes punching, elbowing, knees, kicks, throws, joint locks and choke holds.
be like water be everything but be nothing meaning use many arts dont juz limit ur self to one thing use the best parts of everything an throw out wat doesnt work for u this is wat MIXED martial arts means
I think that's a different video: "How to defend against anything anyone might do anywhere at anytime for any reason." If you find it, kindly post a link.
This approach is far too traditional and sold as MMA technique. But now that MMA is THE Hype many guys try to sell their "old" systems under the brand of MMA.
i dont know much mma but i did box so here is my knowledge....Never block like that, if ur opponent sees u block like that at 0:33 he will feint the right hook and either throw a straight right or an upper cut. hell even a left hook cuz his hands are down but nive combo there
not really. you have to remember that there slowing down so ppl can see it. if they were doing it real speed the guy one the left would bow the short dude acrosse the face before he knew what happened.
actually theres multiple ways to block a punch that one was just for a right hook u can block punches other way just you need to manage to get in that position also though there are other technices then just the arm bar
I don't know anything about MMA moves, I just watch because im interested. Will this work for someone who is 160 vs 215lbs? The reason I ask this is because in most street fights, the bear usually wins.
yeh it works you find any person off balance you can chuck them into an arm bar but in a streetfight he'll most likely bite you so instead of puttin ur leg over his neck put push ur foot on the side ov his face and walla you just broke the bears arm lol
also no proper instruction on pinching your leg together and pulling it over the hip for extra extension to break the arm , do you find yourself getting knackard , Also what makes it a muay thai elbow?, As you can c your Karate block is traditional but com on man that shit dont work in a real situation you have 2 strike at the same time
Everybody wants to cash in on mma.. What do you teach?.. self defense or Mma?; eyes throat, groin, nose, stick to that shit dude unless u are wanting a confrontation,( a real fight ) I have only just got on here and you look like a self defense practitioner ..no offence . Wing chun has the best concept for self defence,
Sorry... but this 1st, 2nd, 3rd approach is not going to work, because a real fight is much faster and the distance is different. The Guy who comes at him would be much closer in reallife, so no time to block and then counter.
secondly, the "judo" throw is horribl. He is not breaking his partners balance, nor is he loading him upon the hips. Also, he isnt sweeping his legs (which is optional).
The armbar is done wrong, tooo. he is not close enough.
nice move, we have a similar move like that in Hybrid Yaw-Yan Filipino Martial Arts, we called it Dominating Palm instead of Blocking that is force to force. we use also non-resistant techniques. see our site at hybridyawyanfma here @ youtube.
that blocking technique is too cheezy. no body is going to wait after the first attack for you to block and throw them like that. they'll just follow up with a cross
ahh look at all these keyboard warriors oh so mighty behind their master arts of the keyboard.you all are a joke as you act like people who can do better than this guy ,he's just teaching beginner techniques, grow up and get a life
@onetao8 how am I a keyboard warrior? half of these idiots who run their mouth on here probably don't even take class, they sit around on their butts watching UFC all day, when does he say he's an expert anyway? he's simply doing a video for a group CALLED expert village. How can you say it's lame? i don't see you making any videos on how to perform these moves.
@salvationwar Your a keyboard warrior because you are arguing and giving shit to people on the internet. I never said HE said he was a expert i just said he is a so called expert. I can say his vids are lame for the simple reason it is my opinion. I haven't posted any vids, maybe i will maybe i wont. If i do post a video it wont be of these technique's because his karate block sucks, he cant throw a proper MT elbow, and his throw would be easily countered. Peace
@onetao8 I am not giving shit to anyone, they give shit to the sport, and to this man who takes time out of his day to make these videos. So you said he's a theoretical expert, but he's a theoretical expert? Yeah, that doesn't make much sense. I do agree with you on that though, he should practice his techniques, besides I doubt he even just got up deciding to make the vid, expert village most likely asked him to. If you do I would like to see them. Good day.
@salvationwar I never said or used the word theoretical. All i said was he is a so called expert because he is on the expert village channel. Do you not think that if you are asked to do a video for expert village you are considered an expert?
@onetao8 No actually, I know you didn't say theoretical ,but you basically repeated the same thing. Expert Village is smiply a company, nothing more. I've seen children doing videos and your average Joe, it's simply a name. Must we really have a dispute over this?
@salvationwar I am an expert. Sandan (3rd degree) black belt in Judo, brown belt in BJJ under a BJJ world champion for team "GRACIE-BARRA", trained with kick-boxing ex-world champion "el Tigre", an accomplished wrestler in high school and an all around street fighter who's been in hundreds of battles, with no scars, broken nose, or serious injury as a result of it.
I agree with oceanzx2nd, would you silly little kids stop posting retarded comments about his techniques. He is a professional showing "BASIC" moves for "BEGINNERS". If he wanted to show you "so called fighters" like youselves then he would, but he isn't. It's for beginners, go bitch and cry and act the tough guy on someone elses video you stupid little rejects.
i could pull this on any of you lol. trying to talk like you know better just cuz no ones guna come and prove you wrong. if you can do better show on a video response or stfu and go play some street fighter loser b!tches
That's not a Muay thai elbow. He forgot to turn his wrist down and in and rotate his hips....he just friggin forearm bashed him in the face... I suppose Moo thai is his own made up martial art of craptastic technique. Whats next... the Moo thai low kick where he kicks his shin with the ball of his foot three stooges style? Whatever works big guy...whatever works

the Karate block is actually more dangerous then helpful. Leave to much open...
And after you through the elbow i highly doubt he isnt guna cover up so you can sink the neck for the throw.
Better combo is Triangle arm block, Counter with the elbow, then go down for a double or single leg take down and go from there...
krunked666 2 years ago
This seems more like a discipline based karate self defense plac that's calling itself mma, because this whole thing was taught as a combination hoping your opponent dis the exact right shit to make it work, mma teaching is more like, here is the sweet stuff from all the martial arts learn them and know them by heart and use when necessary

Where can i find training for this? Like what would i look up to find a place near me that can train me? Please reply
obbma4ler22 2 years ago 2
Search MMA Gyms in ____ City.
The striking and the grappling would be an MMA gym.
Just the grappling type you can go to a Judo or Jiu Jitsu gym.
Just striking you would want a Muay Thai gym.
You should go to the MMA gym tho
Curatalo506 2 years ago
is this gym good? i heard it wasnt so good, i live in florida so id like to know

when people say they wanna learn mma, what is it that they are learning? mma is not a martial art alone, it's mixed.
kennlimbhsss 2 years ago 2
yeah, its not really learning, its more doing
naraic1020 2 years ago
our teachers just take from all fighting disciplines and teache us whatever is effective. this includes punching, elbowing, knees, kicks, throws, joint locks and choke holds.
hurikai 2 years ago
and you CAN "learn" MMA, you dont have to stick to just kickboxing, or BJJ, your LEARNING how to defend your self overall.
SpizProductions08 2 years ago
be like water be everything but be nothing meaning use many arts dont juz limit ur self to one thing use the best parts of everything an throw out wat doesnt work for u this is wat MIXED martial arts means

This approach is far too traditional and sold as MMA technique. But now that MMA is THE Hype many guys try to sell their "old" systems under the brand of MMA.

to avoid that happening i would suggest squeezing your knees together so yer balls dont get smooshed as bad
Whyhq 2 years ago
i dont know much mma but i did box so here is my knowledge....Never block like that, if ur opponent sees u block like that at 0:33 he will feint the right hook and either throw a straight right or an upper cut. hell even a left hook cuz his hands are down but nive combo there
keenmachine80 2 years ago
That's what happens when you have a JUDO instructor trying to teach MMA. Beware the McDojo turning into the McMMA gym.
marcusorilius 2 years ago
not really. you have to remember that there slowing down so ppl can see it. if they were doing it real speed the guy one the left would bow the short dude acrosse the face before he knew what happened.
jbealslaxer29 2 years ago
bull shit, on 0:35, the guy on the right could just easily throw a killer left hook on the jaw :p
o6dude 2 years ago
actually I've used this block, there is a way to use it without your opponent seeing it too early (just takes a bit of practicing and you get it)
AzamHQ 2 years ago
actually theres multiple ways to block a punch that one was just for a right hook u can block punches other way just you need to manage to get in that position also though there are other technices then just the arm bar
ooofrootloop 2 years ago
never ever ever try to block a punch like that ever ever ever

I don't know anything about MMA moves, I just watch because im interested. Will this work for someone who is 160 vs 215lbs? The reason I ask this is because in most street fights, the bear usually wins.
Maynvisitor 2 years ago
yeh it works you find any person off balance you can chuck them into an arm bar but in a streetfight he'll most likely bite you so instead of puttin ur leg over his neck put push ur foot on the side ov his face and walla you just broke the bears arm lol
ShuuAycobjay 2 years ago
the bear usually wins. <---- you funny! Not if the bear is fighting a Lion. with a pitbull heart. The *bear* would get mangled. ;)
annvp72 2 years ago
that's why in competition like the UFC they have weight divisions.

for real mma technniques go to BUDDHASPORT
BUDDHASPORT 2 years ago
this is shit xD
chaizy23 2 years ago
how the fuck would you be fast enough to do all that as a counter??? wat aload of shit
herthber 2 years ago
also no proper instruction on pinching your leg together and pulling it over the hip for extra extension to break the arm , do you find yourself getting knackard , Also what makes it a muay thai elbow?, As you can c your Karate block is traditional but com on man that shit dont work in a real situation you have 2 strike at the same time
dallastwentyman 2 years ago
Everybody wants to cash in on mma.. What do you teach?.. self defense or Mma?; eyes throat, groin, nose, stick to that shit dude unless u are wanting a confrontation,( a real fight ) I have only just got on here and you look like a self defense practitioner ..no offence . Wing chun has the best concept for self defence,
dallastwentyman 2 years ago
This is expert village... what do you expect??
ObeyJA 2 years ago
His techniques look kind of weak and at the very least impractical. That being said he would probably beat the shit out of all of us.
aab089 2 years ago 3
Sorry... but this 1st, 2nd, 3rd approach is not going to work, because a real fight is much faster and the distance is different.
This guys is wack, i could teach it better.

nice move, we have a similar move like that in Hybrid Yaw-Yan Filipino Martial Arts, we called it Dominating Palm instead of Blocking that is force to force. we use also non-resistant techniques. see our site at hybridyawyanfma here @ youtube.
hybridyawyanfma 2 years ago
Nice! Nice...!!!
9182727189 2 years ago
The opponent will just block the elbow.
It's a close range move being used from a distance straight into the right glove.
riopieboy 2 years ago
that blocking technique is too cheezy. no body is going to wait after the first attack for you to block and throw them like that. they'll just follow up with a cross
djsonicc 2 years ago
ahh look at all these keyboard warriors oh so mighty behind their master arts of the keyboard.you all are a joke as you act like people who can do better than this guy ,he's just teaching beginner techniques, grow up and get a life
salvationwar 2 years ago 13
@salvationwar Your a keyboard warrior too ! And i know for a fact i can do better than this so called expert, his vids are lame =)
onetao8 1 year ago
@onetao8 how am I a keyboard warrior? half of these idiots who run their mouth on here probably don't even take class, they sit around on their butts watching UFC all day, when does he say he's an expert anyway? he's simply doing a video for a group CALLED expert village. How can you say it's lame? i don't see you making any videos on how to perform these moves.
salvationwar 1 year ago
@salvationwar Your a keyboard warrior because you are arguing and giving shit to people on the internet. I never said HE said he was a expert i just said he is a so called expert. I can say his vids are lame for the simple reason it is my opinion. I haven't posted any vids, maybe i will maybe i wont. If i do post a video it wont be of these technique's because his karate block sucks, he cant throw a proper MT elbow, and his throw would be easily countered. Peace
onetao8 1 year ago
@onetao8 I am not giving shit to anyone, they give shit to the sport, and to this man who takes time out of his day to make these videos. So you said he's a theoretical expert, but he's a theoretical expert? Yeah, that doesn't make much sense. I do agree with you on that though, he should practice his techniques, besides I doubt he even just got up deciding to make the vid, expert village most likely asked him to. If you do I would like to see them. Good day.
salvationwar 1 year ago
@salvationwar I never said or used the word theoretical. All i said was he is a so called expert because he is on the expert village channel. Do you not think that if you are asked to do a video for expert village you are considered an expert?
onetao8 1 year ago
@onetao8 No actually, I know you didn't say theoretical ,but you basically repeated the same thing. Expert Village is smiply a company, nothing more. I've seen children doing videos and your average Joe, it's simply a name. Must we really have a dispute over this?
salvationwar 1 year ago

WeWillNotGoQuietly 2 years ago 2
i could pull this on any of you lol. trying to talk like you know better just cuz no ones guna come and prove you wrong. if you can do better show on a video response or stfu and go play some street fighter loser b!tches

Whatever works big guy...whatever works

that elbow has nothing to do with muay thia lol. idk where he gets off saying it does.
