I liked the cartoons that truly captures you into the story. This is one of those. It has dynamic tale and unbelievably supercharged atmosphere, it seems like it is trying to say to you it is actually real, it is not the cartoon. Seems so real and easygoing cartoon with swift editing. I had fantastic time watching this on fr#eec#artoo#ns (delete all #).

the story I read was different,(the brothers grimm) the parents invited 12 of the 13 wise women because they only had 12 gold plates, the 13th wise woman was outraged and put a wicked curse on the girl so that she would die and the 12th made it so that she would only sleep for a long time a 100 years if I'm not mistaken
@Rixera yup it's true. and in the real story she doesn't prick herself on the spinningwheel but she gets a piece of thread stuck under her fingernail. that made her fall asleep. Weird story if you ask me.
@Rixera well telling little kids their fav disney character was actually raped and gave birth to twins in her sleep isn't that much of a happy ending now isn't it xD well it ends well but there is some murder involved and sleeping beauty isn't the nicest one either :P cinderella is nothing like the story used to be, and neither is the little mermaid. But it just happend to be that the stories people used to tell are just more grusom. That's just the way it is. i don't really mind it actually.

@TeacherAC i was already aware of that :P. i thought this story was a quite aweful variation, thus i remembered it better. And If my source is correct it is older then the german version. Fairytales are never the same after being told through the ages. Another example of this is the story of cinderella. they aren't even sure if the the lost shoe was made of fur or glass..

@Rixera yup it's true. and in the real story she doesn't prick herself on the spinningwheel but she gets a piece of thread stuck under her fingernail. that made her fall asleep. Weird story if you ask me.

@Rixera well telling little kids their fav disney character was actually raped and gave birth to twins in her sleep isn't that much of a happy ending now isn't it xD well it ends well but there is some murder involved and sleeping beauty isn't the nicest one either :P cinderella is nothing like the story used to be, and neither is the little mermaid. But it just happend to be that the stories people used to tell are just more grusom. That's just the way it is. i don't really mind it actually.

@suusjuh123 The raping is not "the real story" either, just one of the many variations of this ancient story. This story is hundreds of years old, and in its most primitive form it is about 8,000 years old, so you could find different versions of this story in all the areas where the IndoEuropeans settled (including India and Iran). Some versions where similar, some really different, until the Grimm Brothers got one of the German versions and turned it into "the official standard version",

@TeacherAC i was already aware of that :P. i thought this story was a quite aweful variation, thus i remembered it better. And If my source is correct it is older then the german version. Fairytales are never the same after being told through the ages. Another example of this is the story of cinderella. they aren't even sure if the the lost shoe was made of fur or glass..
