Chelsea were closing in on the title. Blackburn were fighting off relegation. I think Jose had said nasty things about Blackburns aggressive 'style' before the game and Blackburn then played the match by trying to muscle Chelsea off the pitch. Chelsea won 1-0 but had to work quite hard for it. Shame really. I would have been nice to stuff Jose. We did the following season on the last day if I remember correctly.
