How I love this show. I grew up watching this as a little lass and yet I never saw this episode! Im not sure how I missed it..... As you can imagine I was SUPER excited to find out that they kissed. ^^ I really wish they would release part 2 of season 2. I guess not enough ppl bought season one???? Not ok guys!!! lol. In the begining of the series demona said almost the exact same words john did when she discovered the wyvern clan destroyed and blamed the humans for it even though it was technically her own fault

No. Another SERIES ("Gargoyles: The Goliath Chronicles") followed after this episode (which was indeed the series finale of "Gargoyles" proper), and it was considered woefully inferior, as the original creators were not involved.

Fans generally consider The Goliath Chronicles to be non-canon, except perhaps for the first story which was based on creator notes.

The REAL series continuations are the Slave Labor Graphics comics.

I think we have an interesting twist with that scenario. If Goliath had not crushed the Praying Gargoyle, Demona would have been safe and then MacBeth would not have died. However, if the canister had shattered after Goliath had crushed the Praying Gargoyle, then all intellegent life would become extinct. Plus, since it was ingenered by her, both of them would die and remain dead, unless the Weird Sisters's spell doesn't work on indirect murders.

Ninjettifire, Demona's scheme was flawed from the get-go. Even had everything gone as she planned, she was doomed. She didn't think her schemes all the way through.

She (and you) apparently forgot that she turns HUMAN in the daytime, thanks to Puck.

So, she would've been safe but ONLY until sunrise. Then she would've died horribly. But then, since she didn't die at MacBeth's hand nor vice-versa, she would've been quickly resurrected, only to die horribly again, and again, all day every day!

I was refering to the volpe3fuego's comment. Also I did account for the Weird Sister's spell linking Demona and Macbeth. However, I did not facter in Puck's spell. Thank you for pointing that out. But to be perfectly honest, she's a sorceress and I doubt she forgot about the Avalonian magic that's been used on her. Plus, she started preparing for this spell centuries before she captured Puck. But then again, Demona is not entirely sane so there you go.

#1, the virus is only a harmless carrier in and of itself, so when it dies out is irrelevant. Once infected with the magically charged deadly chemical disinfectant that the virus CARRIED, any sapient being not protected by the Praying Gargoyle would die, WITH OR WITHOUT the virus.

#2, Demona BECOMES a human during the day. Not a Gargoyle that LOOKS like a human. It's an actual magical TRANSFORMATION, NOT a magical glamour (illusion). Otherwise, she'd be a STONE human.

How do we know that it's a true transformation and not just a glamour? Simple: she stays flesh by day! Gargoyles can't DO that, no matter WHAT they look like!

This series has always been great but bittersweet for me. As far as I am concerned it was the end of an era: Gargoyles marked the last of truly great animation and storytelling from disney. Everything else since cartoon show of animated film hasn't really stacked up since.

Still, the 90's were a great time for animation: Gargoyles, Batman: The animated series, and some of the finest work in animated film by disney and cartoon work from Warner Brothers. Disney, and Fox. A great decade.

DT is ok, but Gargoyles had the more serious darker effect to it that was trying to reach an older audience, Gargoyles was really the only cartoon show of disney that I liked the most because of it's deep cool plot and exploration into myth and legend and I also love it for it's art style especially the 1st 5 episodes, I mean this cartoon crossed boundaries mainly gun usage and not just lasers, actual hardcore bullets, especially the episode Deadly Force which was a lesson towards gun safety.

Elisa-cause she kicks so much ass and you don't find to many female cartoon characters that can fight as good as she does and you don't really find to many cartoon character heroines who's background is explored

Demona is my 2nd favorite character since she's like the perfect female villian

Goliath is 3rd since although he started out rough in the beginning he cold down later and last is Lexington because he was the quickest to adapt to the 20th century
