Did the Walla Walla Symphony perform any other selections from "I Remember Mama"? If they did, I'd love to hear them. This is one of Richard Rodgers greatest-- and most underrated-- scores. It's a rarity to find any performances of it.
Yes. I'm also a fan of the score, and in fact I had us open and close the concert with two numbers from it. Following the KING & I Overture, we opened the concert with "A Little Bit More," and later closed it with "Every Day Comes Something Beautiful."
