Humanism does not imply atheism. I can tell you that humanistic psychology is more compatible with the christian belief in the soul than the mechanistic and materialistic psychology of behaviorism and strict psychobiology. What I'm saying is that humanism and christianity are more compatible than most people think. Both stress the persons own decisions in life and their personal worth. Our soul is our true self.
