Mods are about the same. So the RSX keeps up pretty damn good with about 60 HP less than the TL.

My friend has a 2010TL with a CAI and I can keep up pretty good with an exhaust and SRI. Once I get my racing header I should win.

I used to own an 04TL 5AT, I have beaten and lost to presumably stock RSXs...with 6MT and a good minimal spin launch they are tough to beat to 60 or so. From a 45 roll though the AT TL does better. 6MT TL should almost always win off the line or otherwise

If your talking about my comment, it's hard to suck at driving in an AT, just shift at redline and don't hit the rev limiter...I lost before because AT TL has over 20% drivetrain loss and it's 5AT vs 6MT, MT's are almost always better in almost all circumstances.

I had an 04TL 5AT which I put 22k on in 8 months, just sold my 95 6MT Legend Type II coupe, and currently have an 01 CL type S...I am on AcuraZine, Temple of VTEC, and other sites, I think I know how to drive my car bud. Just because a tranny is AT doesn't mean it's slower than a MT, but it does mean it has more parasitic drivetrain loss.

Have you even dyno'd your TL? I can bet even if it's a 6MT it won't put down much more than 225whp. Consider the power-weight ratio of the TL and RSXs, gear ratios, CD, tires, and other factors that go into acceleration ans speed. I know my cars, obviously you don't know yours because you act like your TL can outrun a Viper or something. Yes the TL is quick for a slow car, but don't be ignorant.

If you notice my past comments also, I said things like "presumably stock" rsx, meaning I didn't confirm whether they were completly stock or not. Please explain to me why with an extra gear, better launch capabilities, and better overall gear ratios that it would be SO INSANE to even think an RSXs could even KEEP UP with a TL, let alone barely edge it out.

yeah fly I don't believe he put in 10k, but yeah there are a lot more then 10k word of mods for the TL, well if he got it custom built, because they have no force induction mods for the 07-08 TL's 04-06 have Comptech Superchargers, and I think turbo kits might be available as well.
