I am in tears over this video. I never heard of this cat until animal channel on Bengal cats. I feel bad for you - I grieve over a missing alley cat. Well this cat is beautiful and I'm sending out my best to you and her. Have you thought of using a pet psychic? I know it may sound dumb, but you have tried everything else. I hope for the best.
Is she quite smoochy? if so some complete bastard(s) probably stole her. We're reluctant to have our Bengals as outdoor cats, as some scumbag would eventually spot one, pick it up and simply take it away. Good luck in getting her home safely.
@JessicaScarlett And sorry I hope you find her! Will send my prayers I could not imagine ever losing one of our animals. Must be so sad for both animal and human :(
This video was a joy to watch - she is a beauty & obviously loved & happy! How did she go missing? I pray you get her back! ALC's bond so closely to their humans & don't bond if they lose their humans, they usually revert back to the shyness of the wild state. I pray she's ok & you find her!
thank you so much hope. We will never know if she made that hole herself in the netting of her enclosure or if she was stolen on the 2nd day of our holidays by somebody who would have been tipped of. Just extraordinary that she didn't come back or we didn't found her after hours of walks in the fields calling , night spent in a tent, traps, infra red camera, A2 posters everywhere, big reward, been on national radio, national newspaper ... and nothing ... nothing .
@prinou1 Cats will wonder, as its in their nature to do so, but if their comfortable in their environment, they will most likely always come back. My sisters cat was missing for over a yr, then one day the neighbor says she had been feeding the cat...and the day came we saw him...he will run when approached as once an inside lovable house cat... We both think that her terrier dog jake shes had long before the cat would run the cat off, so cat just decided to stay away. :((
@sugar6486 Im thinking your a girl so i will leave my asshole mode off. maybe you could check the kitchen to see if a sandwich is to be made and leave this comment to a fellow Nat Geo scientist
@RzXVeRSaTiiLe Hi, no you can't, sugar is right. The first thing is to respect the animals and put their needs first. Arguably Serval and Asian Leopard cat can be domesticated to leave with you as pets and be happy. I don't know of many other breeds of wild feline that might adapt to a home environment. Servals and ALC are really for the experienced feline enthusiast. It is a huge responsibility. If you waist such a animal and it doesn't trust humans...what do you do with it ?
@jonk62 Are you even speaking english? i think you are agreeing with sugar and giving me a lecture on serval cats? and what do you mean, what do i do with what? .... you sound like "Jack Vale - nonsense" on youtube check it out. it'll pt a smile on your face i garantee it.
Would it be hard to own/ take care of an asian leopard cat if you live in a private/ gated neighborhood ? thinking of getting one but what responsibility etc comes with it
@aherrington1995 Yes , you can absolutely not leave an ALC unsupervised !!!! they are shy animals and would disappear at the first fright. They are wild animals. Even if born in captivity. Very different care form a domesticated cat.
I have to say, this video makes me smile. Especially when Electra ran across the open field. You always hear about bad owners and how it's just a cycle of greed and irresponsibility. I'm very glad to see vids on here that shows human love doesn't come at the cost of the animal's quality of life.
@ElectroGlitching F stands for filial, which means a generation. So F1 means that one of that cat's parents were an ALC or Serval. It's first generation--or one generation removed. F2, F3, and so on shows how many generations away that cat is from its wild predecessor (and how much wild cat it has in it.) An F1 cat will resemble its wild ancestor much more than an F4.
so rad i have an f3 savannah cat named icarus i cant wait to move into a house and not an apartment i will have 3 more exotic cats and make my backyard a habitat!
Hi your cat is amazing. I am a breeder of bengals and am creating a website. I am looking for a nice picture of an asian leopard cat and wondered if you had any i could use. I will assure you I will say where i got it from. thank you x
