  • I cannot see all Americans are business opportunists...just their politions. Great monologue, Richard.

  • Wow. Really pointed. We're hoping for the war crimes trial, too.

  • Good work Richard and co ;)

Australian Main Stream Media Outlets are a 'D notice' controlled joke....So called unbiased news media owner (who's father was put in place by Rothschilds: read the book 'The Judas Goats' by Micheal Collins Piper for more detail) Rupert Murdoch admitted "We tried to shape the agenda on Iraq" Jan 26, 2007

And as you'd be aware, that's just the tip of the snow job they're pulling on all Australian's right, to KNOW!

You guys made my day, thanks.

    cheers,

    Rod (Qld)

  • Why has the 2020 summit failed to place peak oil and the solutions that Permaculture offer on the agenda?

  • Well done Richard... every new way of getting the truth out about the lies and spin of the military/industrial/entertainment complex is needed. Your amazing energy in the face of decades of public apathy is an inspiration!

  • This guy is ugly, he sort of looks like Mick Jagger.

  • Richard is a decent well mannered bloke who lives nearby to me. Even though we have never met he always gives a wave or a smile to anyone and everyone.

  • You are probably right, perhaps my comment was out of line.

  • Cheers warrior!

  • You're an ass

  • You might be right.

  • The network media lost all credibility after 2003 when they blindly supported Bush's war in Iraq. I get my news from the BBC and internet now, and the difference in coverage is like night and day, not only re: Iraq but other news too. For example, the Jew-controlled U.S. media would never show how Israel brutalizes Palestinians. I hope someone documents all these Iraq war vidclips. It won't resemble anything in U.S. history books which will tell a tale of good Americans liberating Iraqis.

  • Boy them Jews are all over the place controlling things aren't they? Better look outside on your roof, there might be a Jew up there.

  • I dont disagree that we should never have gone into Iraq. I can go deeply into anti-war dissent.

However, American troops are pawns. They dont really know whats going on, or what the mission is. Yes, sometimes their behavior is despicable and unforgiveable, but please remember... they are desperate and frustrated. They serve one tour of duty after another. If you felt like you'd never return home, never see your family again, or die in a foriegn land...

You might have a meltdown too

  • A war crime is a war crime. Nazis had excuses lined up too (e.g., "I was just following orders"). What do you expect when you unleash untrained, heavily-armed 18-year olds to police civilians? Police officers have to undergo psychological tests and training. Would you allow these burger flippers to patrol your streets? But it's good enough for the Iraqis? After all, they're just brown people?

  • The fact is, U.S. troops are, by-and-large, intellectually bankrupt juveniles from impovershed parts of the country. We send America's worst citizens to do our fighting for us, with no more training than is neccesary for your average infantryman. Sensitivity, diversity, and intercultural relations are not taught to your average soldier at any stage in his army career. The end result is dim-witted, blunt-force violence against a people too different for these imbeciles to recognize as human.

  • How would you know? Huh? It is true: there are stupid people who go to war, to fight for a cause they don't realize is fake. But there are also honorable citizens who lay down their lives because they really are trying to help people. I do not believe in discriminating people for what their comrades do.

  • Simple, my man. I've met these puppy-tossers myself. I work with them everyday. I exaggerate very little when I paint this tattered portrait of America's heroes for hire. I cannot accuse the intelligent among them for the faults of the majority. But facts are facts.

  • search for "Breaking the Law funniest video ever" it's a hilarious vid.

  • Good for you Richard Neville...Speak your truth loud and clear...Some of us are listening!!!

  • yea, what you say about mainstream media is probably right but who do you trust in the internet? so many people write articles in different blogs. how does one know that they're more informed and infromative than the media?

  • yay...thats the whole point, just by "YOU" asking "who do you trust in the internet" makes you a prisoner... its ok to read watch listen to this, its perfectly fine, but we got to think of whats happening, pick up the pieces, theorize, discuss with others, friends family, people at work or maybe people involve in this, family with their sons and daughters in iraq, played pawns, in this gigantic scale of game called chess, monolopy, snake and ladders, pacman!!!

  • a prisoner of what? i get every oppinion, both from blogs, from the media and from news organizations, but in the end it is my judgement and my conversations with others that shape my oppinions. nobody can claim to be 100% shure about most things and if he does, he's a liar. you must take EVERYTHING with a grain of salt and apply critical thinking before going with one view or another.

  • well said. i agree. yet there continue to be patriotic people in the US who refuse to believe these stories even when it's staring them in the face. the holocaust in ww2 was like that for way longer than it should've been, and by the time the US stepped in, it was too late for over 600 million jews.

  • The US stepped in because the European countries couldn't get the job done. You cannot let dictators grow in power until they are too strong to take on, thus removing Saddam may have saved many more lives than it cost. You must learn the lessons of history. War is nasty business but it will always be necessary as long as we have people who lay down and do nothing about tyrants and let the problem get out of hand!

  • watch?v=5bxy4jxlPiA i guess thats the best vid on youtube!!! when you want to see it, watch...when not click on ''spam''

  • there was far more brutality under saddam, which was on purpose. We are there to try to bring them liberty and hope. If you cannot understand the difference please shut the hell up!

  • Liberty & Hope? What rock have you been living under? I guess you still believe the Bush lies about WMD?

Wake up and smell the napalm. There was only ever ONE reason for this war... and it wasn't bringing peace or liberty to anyone.

If you're doing such a damn good job over there, why do the Iraqi's want you out? Why do they call you "oppressors"?

You really need to take your blinders off 40xmyke

  • First of all you can't lie about things that haven't happened yet, 17 countries had the SAME intelligence, We had unanimous approval from the U.N. Saddam threatened to use chemical weapons against us if we invaded, we know for a fact he used them against the kurds which meant he did have them at one time. And lastly you don't thumb your nose at the U.S. you fucking moron!

  • you're the moron - the UN did NOT "unanimously approve" the invasion. Bush &n his thugs went in anyway. Sure you can thumb your nose at the US - just about everyone's doing it these days.

  • Oh... 40xmyke ! Are we a little sensitive about criticism of the US of A?

Check your facts first. THE WERE NO WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION WHEN THE US INVADED IRAQ!

Did you miss that piece of news (it's quite old now). But, I guess you are a bit slow in the head.

  • Yawn. How old is this guy? He looks like he could keel over at any moment.

  • All you did was sensationalize the story. I don't feel one bit sorry for some of those soldiers who commit haneous crimes there when they know DAMN WELL what they are doing. Guess what? They were just as violent BEFORE they entered the military..and yet, you make it sound so "la dee dah" and whimsicle by ending it with "welcome to the future." It's NOT the future---it is NOW. Any harm that asshole marine soldier gets-he deserves! Same goes for others who aren't in their rigth mind.

  • good info, i'd not heard of the puppy thing it's still on youtube

but he totally misunderstood Plato's allegory...

  • please explain...

  • sorry this was supposed to be a response to someone - looks like it turned up as a comment on the video, which it is not. The video explains nicely! :-)

  • Mick Jaggers Brother

  • what a piece of shit

  • bbooorrriinng

  • FO SHIZZLE HIZZ DIZZAL!

  • Very complex theme. Not easy to evaluate. Congratulations Richard, for the well constructed critics. But there's always the other side. On one hand american army is being such a bastard, on the other hand, they took Saddam out of command and are also fighting against terrorism. Too complex.

  • Indeed. However, your lips are out of control.

  • You are right to call on people to speak out against the lies which led to this terrible war. It is too bad that we must form our opinions based upon the available media. When push comes to shove, I believe this could all happen again if we don't start to view circumstances with a critical eye. I hope that 2008 will bring peace to us all. The back story you mentioned is long overdue.

  • SOMEONE MUST BE REPONSIBLE FOR THE MURDER AND RUTHLESS EXPLOITATION OF IRAQ'S RESOURCES, this is an invasion in a very roman style, murder, brutality and GOES ON...THE REASON? military power...human rights? reason? democracy? freedom? don't make me laugh!!!this is a rampant roman invasion!!

  • You clown, Saddam was tried in an international court where he was found guilty and HUNG, for good reason. He ordered 200 thousand kurds dead for his own gain. Thank god one country has had the balls to end the reign of this dickhead. If saddam lead my country (new zealand) I would wish the americans to help. No amount of oil could cover their monetary cost for such an operation. It is a shame iraq is so politically corrupt and citizens so scared we can't hand it back to the people yet.

  • Wobbly... may I suggest that you go back to shagging sheep because your knowledge of politics sucks!! Turkey, which happens to be an American ally, was responsible for more Kurdish deaths than Saddam ever was. Secondly, Saddam wasn't tried in an "international court".

Is NZ education really that bad, or are you just plain stupid... even for a Kiwi?

  • I agree with you. As an American I can tell you I don't want our guys over there, but the cost of letting evil spread, and it always does, is not something we can let happen if we ever want any kind of peacefull world for us ALL to share. Peace through strength!

  • What fucking resources, sand?

  • Is it not also true that just before the wall fell in Soviet Russia, There were lots of mags, loads of tv networks. But that country still remained to be controlled by its Ruler.. This fact was on a google video.. So we may still may became a facist run country . I>E> I hate to see another Hitler or Stalin.... but ya never know PIGS CAN FLY.. good luck Clintie oink.

  • well done *****

  • I agree with the end of your speach,I want our men and women to come home and if they were told or trained to be so brutal, who told them to act that way should be thrown in jail.I love our soldiers,no one should be lied too.15 months deployments are insane.
