Its because you have one of those old XBOX's, get a new Xbox slim 250GB. lol this is my 6th xbox 360 but i never got the RROD on any of my previous consoles. Either the disc drive messed up or some kind of other stupid reason. Eventually i just said "fuck it" and bought a brand new 360 slim and the thing is pretty sweet. haven't had 1 single problem with it yet.

gamelord3 all you need to do when u get 3 red rings is unplug all cables from the back of the xbox 360 and wait 10-15 minutes but if you have 1 red ring on the bottom left then you send it in

ya check your powerbar, then look in the back and see if all that shit is plugged in.

When its not all plugged in to your tv or xbox, it gives the red ring.

overheating is still a problem
