  • BORING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The other guy has a very ugly forehand I must say : - /

  • @pocketsearch Roddick's is uglier to be honest. It's almost like he's cramping

  • @DestroyerAlexandros But, Roddicks' backhand is by far the worst on the tour.

  • @pocketsearch Yeah it's pretty terrible. He grips the racquet so high, almost like he's playing with a ping pong paddle, and then he just jolts it in with some topspin

  • @pocketsearch it's very bad but probably not the worst on the entire tour, and certainly not by far. There are like 2000 players on the tour

  • @bananatree1234567 Deffos, but it is something he could work on.

  • haha at the end "luv - 15" hahaha

  • the announcer was probably waiting ages to use the line "roddickulous"

  • He is ridiculously a beast!

  • Roddick is the best :)

  • @jambf2 Yeah that's why he's 2-19 against Federer. :-) You fail.

  • that was like a Federer flick!

  • Nice one

  • VIKTOR TROICKI!!!

  • What an ANDYulous shot ! Oh wait a minute..I'm a stupid moron..the others are better LOL

  • what a STUPID commentor saying that "roddickulous".

  • @FuhrerKaiser that same commentator will say murraculous when murray makes a great shot.

  • i bet the commentor waited all day to say that.. "roddickulous.."

    LAME

  • cocky

  • @peachykeen117 not at all.

  • i ♥ ANDY he is the best

  • If he didn't hit such a neutral backhand at 0:15, then he wouldn't have had to even hit that shot.

  • holy shit, i can't even imagine in my head an absolute roddickulous shot like this...thus, i am unable to believe what i just saw and will pretend it never existed.

  • who does he think he is? Federer?!

  • great shot, but the commentator killed it after the shot

  • that punchline was roddickulously gay.

  • @ryukenlmaoyes ur roddickulous man

  • roddiculous, just like that lob he hit against nadal at miami recently

  • Roddick rules!

  • now that's fast!

  • how did andy roddick get to that point after troicki did the forehand volley into the other side of court den andy roddick got it and get another brilliant backhand volley sliced perfect and andy still went for it and angled it so perfect ............... amazing shot absolutely immaculate and perfect brilliant shot by a brilliant player a 1 in a life time shot by andy roddick i canot believe it is so amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D:D:D:D:):):):)(L)(L)(L)

  • It almost sounded like the commentator came up with a new term at 25 seconds in, "Roddickulous"

  • @ticklemejoshy85 he said that :)

  • Oh, that's just ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous XD.

an in the moment shot, fantastic.

  • Nothing special, just RODDICK!

  • that last shot was beautiful:)

  • Comment removed

  • Roddicolous! haha

  • sweet

  • wooww :)

  • I was there; great shot indeed! A-Rod won against Federer later in that tournament, he was playing really well!

  • I don´t like Roddick´s play style at all...but he did a fanstastic strike here...

  • That was a really good point by Roddick. and yes you are right. roddick's game is not very pretty to look at. His groundstrokes and movement are not natural ... or fluid like federer's.

  • Roddick is Roddick people !

oh he has already said it .. roddickulous ! exceptional point , perfect comment !

  • roddick is fricken amazing. he makes it look so easy

  • Andy is known for his strong psychological character . But also fastest serve world record ridiculous shots and much endurance during long matches i guess he the only one who can somehow match Federer

  • somehow match federer??? the guy gets pawned by fed everytime they play..

  • every one gets pawned by fed almost allways just that roddick has much more endurance than other players and against fed it can be useful .. remember the match against Isner ? . at us open .. other player couldn't even get to the fifth set with him ..

  • yeah but roddick lost to isner right? i mean, i agree with you that he has endurance but his mental game sucks and he's giving away some crucial points(remember the set point he lost at wimbledon with federer? that silly volley...)

  • thats got nothing to do with his mental game, at 27 its no longer as big a problem as it used to be, at wimbledon he though fed's shot was gonna go out at the last moment he decided to volley it, and he caught the ball late, end of story

  • they make it look so easy. i can't even get a first serve in :(

  • dont worry buddy you just need practice like every sport requires :)

  • thats effffffffing ridiculous

  • *roddickulous

  • I saw a rafa forehand then a federer backhand. =]

  • SO true!!!

  • who

  • wow man the last 3 shots of the rally were crazy but, danm he doesnt give up?

  • What a RODDICKulous shot!

  • that was a very corny thing to say....... but i agree. thumbs up*. also good video upload.

  • @Gipshaw ajjajajaj

  • @Gipshaw lol i caught that hahahahaahhahahahahaa

  • @Gipshaw, someone had to say it hahahaha.

  • @Gipshaw rofl

  • @Gipshaw More like a federer shot!!

  • S%^&! Roddick is insane. He just won't give up.

  • I love how arguments break out over a tennis clip, some one should design a website where everyone can just trash talk each other so they'll stop doing it on youtube

  • I know, seriously. Lol its just so funny how certain people live to comment against others. We honestly don't need nor want a long conversation about luck, everyone has their opinion of it, or racism (on a lot of videos, not this one, but a lot of other ones)

  • Ridiculous get by Roddick - just look at the wrist!!

  • ja complejamente impresionante , ese tipo si sabe correr xD

  • cashyr shut the hell up, Tennis shots like that are not like a lottery. That was pure skill, so take your elementary mathematics + simple english and shove it up your egotistical brain.

  • who said roddick didn't have touch.

  • i have no idea how the camera man was able to get this

  • was on vacation in jamaica when i saw this one point on tv there... and roddick became my favorite player ever since than... lol

  • Roddick is my most favourite player since I saw Wimbledon 2009 Finals...

  • That was a great match, but Federer played fairly bad for being him, and Roddick played the match of his life, and Federer still won :D

  • Actually, I thought Federer was i top form during the wimby final. He played such a long match and had under 40 unforced errors, 50 aces, over 100 winners! His fastst serve was 135 mph! And his first serve % was around 62. Yeah, I think that's Federer at his best, or almost best. Did I mention he only had 4 unforced errors?

  • hers return of serve was off

  • just shut up...i hate u ppl coz u all think u know everthing bout tennis, u probably suck at it

  • lol, dude i think we all realized it was a pretty unlikely shot.. there are just so many ppl like u who try to sound so clever, e.g look a bit below on comments, gueorguijoukov is trying to be a smartass.

  • no, not everyone realized luck was invovled (e.g. adriangutt). If you did, then I'm sorry, ignore my last comment.

and what's with all the swearing? lol can't have an argument in a civilized tongue?

(and elementary mathematics = simple English, sure maths is more simple to type, but so what? =.=)

  • another example...elementary mathematics??? why cant u just say maths u ass

  • totally agree with magnetic. Do you think that skills of a pro is based on luck? That is clearly a though of an amateur who doesn't know the reach of this sport..

  • everyone here who is even considering luck exists is stupid beyone measure. there is NO luck seriously everything is skill and probability

  • but don't you gotta get lucky to get the small percentage of the probability to hit that shot?

  • So when a ball hits the top of the net and falls to the other side of the court and you win the point at 7-8 tie break 3 set u dont think you were goddamn lucky?

  • Luck could be considered as a low percentage probability event happening going in your favor. I would say this man would be lucky then.

Considering something else than your claims would rather be a proof of intelligence. Doubting is a clue that you at least think.

This said, claiming something alone is about worthless; showing your statement to be true is useful.

Here, your best argument on whether or not luck exist is.. a statement sayign everythign is skil land probabilities...

  • It's fine to claim, but can you demonstrate us something lik, how everything is probabilities and skills?

And, although examples are nice, they don't justify your statement in anyway. Tell me how skills are relevant to our state and how probabilities are related to what happens.

Because you point out stupidity without showing any signs of intelligence. Saying luck is real is as dumb as saying it's not. Same thing goes for atheism and religion.

  • So, tell me how and why you are right.

You should first try to get an accurate definition of luck.

But answer me, is your name, your job or your reputation makes a flase statement true because YOU said it? No. A stays A no matter who speak. And what if millions says A, will it make it be Z? No. State remains unchanged. Then, numbers behidn an idea doesn't make it better.

So, does a dictionary have to be consider as right because everyone consider it so? No.

  • Then, make up a description of luck and enlight us of your wisdom.

Because if you say what you said, you believe to be inevitably right, because the opposite would imply you are stupid beyond measures .

As you present others as being stupid, I also doubt you are qualifying yourself of dumb since you willingly separated two opposites answers and granted supidity to the opposite camp.

But, tell me how it is stupid beyond measures? Because it's not your answer or is there an other reason?

  • Did Roddick win the match??

  • Yeah ! I like that !

  • Roddiculous 0:24 :D

  • that was pure luck surely...he just went for it

  • Every shot in tennis is luck to some degree. You can have an easy forehand and miss it, it's just that you probably won't. For someone like Federer, it's more like a .7% chance he'd miss an easy forehand. Being better decreases the chance you're going to miss, but it doesn't guarantee anything. The fact that Roddick pulled this off shows that he does indeed have quite a bit of skill. That being said, luck could have played its part in this shot.

  • hmmmm...ok

  • not pure luck, since he was able to run the ball down and hit the angle by hitting the outside of the ball

  • You can't call that kind of a shot luck. The only LUCKY shots in tennis are when the ball hits the pole and goes in or clips the top of the net and rolls over or when your ball hits the line and gives your opponent a terrible bounce. Those are luck. But when nothing of those things are in fact and it is just you, the racket, and the ball, how is that luck?

  • HOW DOES HE DO THAT?????

  • Roddick's a beast

  • That was a SICK point!

  • Never seen something like that before! Roddick FTW.

  • AMAZING !

    GREAT PLAYER !

  • this is magic fantsatic

  • RODICULOUS!!

  • wow! what a player! he's just so nice!

  • I love a nice one-handed backhand across court that completely rinses an opponent.

  • He doesn't play like this in the Grand Slams because he's always getting his ass kicked by Federer. ;)

  • hardley an ass kicking in the latest final

  • Hey -- I like Andy Roddick. Don't get me wrong. But until the latest Wimbledon ... Federer is always in Roddick's head. He just can't beat him.

  • he had the chance to in the second set tie break thts whn federer got into his head.

  • how come he never manages that in the slams?

  • this is a very nice point!!

  • too bad roddick doesnt play like this in grand slams lmao

  • That's what I call "never give up"

  • insane

  • rodickulous

  • pa lako tako protiv troickog

  • roddick is a haxor!!!

    lol jk NICE!
