I think he did a decent job with it. It's fundamentally impossible to sound good singing Maynard's songs due to his amazing voice and vocal range. Three Libras is probably the most difficult. Just remember mimicry is the deepest form of flattery.

And the point of a cover isn't to reproduce the song to be EXACTLY the same as the original. The fun of a cover is adding your own style to it. He was just singing in his key, and doing a short version, just for fun at some show. Def a tribute out of respect
