You know I don't use any sort of routine.I try to keep my reps in the 6-10 rep range most of the time to keep from burning out.Ocassionally going in the 1-5 range.The best way to get your bench up is to do a lot of close grip benching and military pressing or dumbell presses.And keep your sets low,don't do a million sets.You won't be able to recover from it,unless you're on a bunch of supplements.
@BSNrapper to say straps are not necessary til 400+ is a stupid comment, everyone is different. 70lbs from 400 *shakes head slowly* good job buddy, most guys can't lift 300+
hey man i got a question on march 06th i uploaded a video of me doing 240lbs for rep..then on march 13th i was able to 240lbs x2 reps..
then on march 20th i did 240lbs x4 then today on march 27th i did 240lbs x5 and then did 270lbs x1 and rested for 5 mins and then did 290lbs,,,
the 290lb press was done in a smith machine i loaded up 6 45lb plates and 2 10lb plates for a total of 290lbs i dont count the weight of the bar though..now my question is this is the smith accurate?

I am going to post some new vids soon I actually run my own gym now so its hectic as all hell but Shoulder is better with light weight. I tried 315 the other day hit it for 4 reps but shoulder felt it lol ..Damn Shoulders. Look foward to new vids man ..B good

Mark thats still very good lifting man for not felling strong 330 for 6, when you fell better you will come close to 8 or 9 reps with 330 and 245 for 18 is amazing too, you doing great, keep up the good training, it was good to finally see a training video from you i been missing them
Yes it can be very tuff at times,especially on the shoulders.Hang in there with me,I sometimes have times where my bench just stalls.I never give up though.Thanks my friend!
Well that was still preety good. You ought to start taking creatine that will make a big improvment. I was wondering if you were ever gonna post another video.
Yeah I just started taking it. I think it will help alot. I talked to a couple powerlifters friday that said they take creatine over protien. I am taking creatine and protien.

You mean elbow sleeves? I wear them to keep my elbows warm,as an injury protection.They're quite loose and do not give me any extra help...

Yeah it's probably accurate.I think most smith machines have a counter balance and u really don't count the bar much.

Thanks Buddy! Like I told Kaz,the last few jobs were tuff on my shoulders( lots of brushing and rolling) so my strength is down.
I'm trying to go completely natural and not use any supplements.I don't like the let down when u come off creatine.
