I was a child in Peoria, Illinois during WWII and I would go to a small park, directly in front of our house, on Park Place, the name of the street. My dad, who loved boxing and Joe Louis, told me that the small black boys, running in their bright shorts, were golden glovers.  He got me a pair of shorts and I became a fan, Ali enriched the sport so.

At the end of round 6 Liston I think realizes that he is on the road to losing the fight. The game thing to do would have been to carry on, hurt shoulder or not and if you fall you fall. I believe that if the fight had continued on, Ali would have eventually won, possibly by either KO or TKO. Liston was beginning to get pretty beat up, and he knew it.

With the exception of the round where he had stuff from Liston's gloves in his eyes, Ali dominated the fight. If you watch round 3 again Ali caught Liston with a couple of good punches that stunned him and looked like he almost put Liston away right there. In round 6 after he'd gotten his sight back, Ali resumes control of the fight and spends most of round 6 pummelling Liston. Liston started out as the aggressor in the fight, but by round 6 if you watch it again, it's Ali who is the aggressor

Liston cheated. His corner "Juiced his gloves" by smearing an oitment on them that nearly blinded Ali. If it wernt for Angelo Dundee Ali would of qiut after round 4. But he fought on half blind in round 5 after been told by Dundee "Run away from him, use the yardstick". Liston got beat down and quit coz of embarassment-not the fake shoulder injury that they said. He did have a torn ligament but had took much worse in his carrer that was pysically pain full, just not anything as mental painful
