  • I don't know Mandarine, but this is amazing. Then again, he could speak in complete jibberish and i'd hang on everyword.

  • First I thought Bowie was trying to be fancy singing this song in Mandarin but i'll take that back since I just found out it is the most widely spoken language in the world.

  • he does alot of stuff in other languages. I <3 him in German for some reason.

  • Not to mention, it may have something to do with the target audience the lyrics are directed at.

  • lol, amazing~~~~as being an british, his mandarin is decent~~~~love u,bowie, come and visit us here in China!

  • This song has so much friggin energy. Everytime i play this song rather im home or in my car. I have to crank it to the fullest !! Love the lyrics as well.

  • Yeah, that's it... only you missed one line: )))

    白云下得潇洒 遗忘了春夏

    Cheers!

  • Any chance of you posting the lyrics? I'm a first year student of Mandarin and I would love to bring this song to class to share with my classmates. Thank you.

  • didn't you find the lyrics in the comments???

  • No, the lyrics show up on my screen as question marks, I'm guessing it doesn't read characters. For all of us to be able to see them, you'd have to either post them in Pinyin, or email it to everyone who wants them. My email address is eugenia.pascual at gmail dot com. If you would be so kind...

  • good job david, but it is obvious that david is singing the sound phonetically and does not know what the hell he is singing about.

  • I'm 100% sure he knows what he's singing about. He wouldn't have been David Bowie if he had skipped that part. His phonetical skills in Chinese are rudimentary, but he's still doing a decent Mandarin singing.

  • This is out of this world! David Bowie singing in Mandarin. Any budding singer should try to be like him. Think of the massive Chinese market. 1.3 odd billion people. You'll be even more famous than the most famous singers in the world.

  • cool video. Bowie's the mainman. Could you would you post the chinese lyrics?

  • I have no idea. I don't live in Hong Kong but I remember people talking about it.

  • This vid id RED HOT!!!! Bowie will always prevail!!! Love you David Jones!!! - Connie D.

  • This song's called "Fleeting Moment"

  • Thanks! Will check it.

  • whoa....this is the second time i've heard him sing in Mandarin. he released another single in Mandarin

  • which was the first one?
