It worked out pretty well with bolting the motorcycle attachment to my workbench. the height is good. Went with mojoblocks. Wish i had purchased the mojolever but used tire irons. Not terrible but next time will spring for the bar. For bead breaker I made my own out of 2x4's fastened to my garage wall
i can tell ya harbor freight, is not the best yes it is cheap but by the time your done with the 2nd set of tire changes. you've probably already bent something or broken something...................let me know how all this works out for ya
Not true ,"they just don't list the tire changer any more" ! I called around to the local stores and was able to scare 1 up ! The wharehouse does not carry them any more witch means neither will the stores . As I said I was able to get one with the part # and a couple of calls to local stores I now am the proud owner of this money saving tire changer ! Here's the part # you will have to do the calling ,So what are you waiting for ..........Model (34542) there you go !!!

It seems Harbor Freight no longer sells the base machine but still has the motorcycle attachment. Do you think I could make it work with just the motorcycle attachment if I mounted the thing to my metal work bench? I mean aside from providing a comfortable working height - what does the base machine have to do with changing motorcycle tires? Thanks

@fb4004 Opposite now. Their website shows that they still have the base, but not the motorcycle wheel attachment. Wish I would have gotten these last year. Now I'm on the hunt.
Informative vid, thanks! I'm thinking an old leather belt to pad the wheel clamps. Or...a new (cheap) belt would still be better than scratching or nicking the wheels.
I have that it works.Done 7 tires already.Off is easy.Getting the second lip over the rim is the only hard part.Once you figure it out its easy.Worth it.Like to see the no mar bar. That would be useful.
so lets see it work!

@fb4004 the base only has the bead breaker, other than that i'm sure you can find a way to rig up the changer it's self

but you still need to have the trye balanced
2wheels2fast 2 years ago
I made a balancer for 15 bucks, it's not that hard
Pittimus84 2 years ago
@Pittimus84 How?
4inches4u 1 year ago
that would be very usefull for bike stunters cause you could buy part worn tyres from ebay and put them on your self
2wheels2fast 2 years ago
it's very useful to anyone who is a do it yourselfer, and wants to save money.
Pittimus84 2 years ago
Haha now I know where to go to get my tires changed, lol. I'm kidding.
Nice buy! What are you going to do about getting your tires balanced? Are you going to take it in the shop just for that?
ToastToGo 2 years ago
i changed my last set of tires myself just with tire irons, it sucked. I made a balancer for 15 bucks from a steel rod and 2 bearings

I'm prolly going to get the no-scuff bar it's cheaper and many folks say it is just a tad better than the no mar bar

Nice

oh yes, I will never change a tire with just irons ever again, this will make life so much easier.
