2:45 I totally agree. Dynasty is a great company, not my personal fav, but a great company never the less. I think that the adjustablility is a good concept, but not really that useful. It'll change people's techniques after playing on them for a good while. Then, when they move up, and start using other brands, they'll find out that it wasn't a good idea to have their drums adjusted.

I have a question, Why is it that drums number 3 and 4 heads are facing away from you, and the 1st 2nd and spock are facing right side up? i've always been curious to this, and i see it every where (highschool marching band btw)

I must say, Dynasty makes some BEAUTIFUL wraps that put some lacquer finishes to shame. Especially since they won't fade in the sun after a summer of tour.

why do you put pinstripes on the 4 main drums but put a coated head on the spock drum

I went for pinstripes on the main four drums and extra pop out of the spock with Emperor smooth white. It's pretty cool, though I usually use pinstripes all around.

Thanks y`all! To answer a couple questions, the sticks are my Vic Firth sig Billy Clubs, I got the quads as a gift from Dynasty (they seem to like me there!), and yes it's the SEM mount--I do my best to never wear quads at this stage of the game, but occasionally I must.

WHAT! You got the chrome! Damn... We were hoping to get chrome at my corps, but we didn't, but they sure do look nice. Personally I think Dynasty makes some really strong stuff, but their hardware isn't really as strong as some other hardware I've seen. I've seen brand new Dynasty rims start getting bent out of shape and stretching out farther than the lugs, and other stuff get rusted and striped out (these are still new drums we're talking about). If they can fix that, then I'd love it.

@leemcd56 I wouldn't say it's a shot at them, more just an opinion.

Honestly, what Tama is doing is amazing, they are actually bringing a lot of great stuff to the table. Stuff that is outside of the cookie cutter drums we always see.

But at the same time, he has a point. More nuts and bolts will have a higher probability of breaking. But honestly, all drums will likely break after years of wear and tear, dynasties included. Dynasty does make some sturdy drums, but they still will break.
