So they based the chart from data from 700 of 4000 record stores - pretty high margin for error there.. :-/

@wartmiller I always hated that because I pretty much knew that my record purchases weren't having any effect on the charts. I was only a kid though! Doesn't quite seem so important now, which is ironic given that the chart is much more accurate now, utilising downloads etc.
