  • this is really helpful! danke!

  • This is more useful than my german teacher... sie kommt aus Deutschland =)

  • das sind alles Dinger die wir nicht mal im Deutschen verstehen!!! xDD oO: that are all thinks what we can dont to!! xD bad english??! xD Brian from DEUTSCHLAND

  • @BrianZeigtZunge: Well, that depends on the school you’re visiting. My first foreign language was Latin and English my second, so learning stuff like that came naturally with Latin. :)

  • Es ist ganz bestimmt hilfreich :) I'm studying german to the degree "german-teacher for foreigners" and it's very interesting to see how people explain the systematics of my language, which i have never lerned as a native speaker. When i speak german i don't even note that there are cases at all :D Great work. I think your pupils will be able to speak a good german.

  • Dankeschon, mein freund!

  • Dass ist wunderbar.. bitte weiter

  • Gutan tag , mnay thanks for putting your videos on here , they are a great help

Alex 29 Southampton England, keep up the great work

  • "Vor fünf Jahre"...Jahren!

  • either: heute sprechen wir über......

    or: wir sprechen heute über......

  • Diese guy ist kuhl! Vielen dank!

  • omg

an means to , zu means to , nach means to

when i use any 1 of them???

  • Nono, an means at, zu means [going] to, nach means after

  • Also going to , a country for example.. with out an article.. so forexample.. excluding: Die Türkei, Die Niederlande, Die Schweiz..

You would same ' Ich gehe nach Deutschland am 25. Dezember '

or.. " Ich will nach Deutschland gehen '

Used in everyother context would be ' after '

  • thanx really apreciate it

    but why don't i say

    ich will zu Deutschland gehen

you understand what i'm going through?

  • ahahaha this is great! most german ppl do it WRONG aswell!

ich gehe NACH deutschland (im going to germany) -or any country, city etc)

ich fahre ZU meinen eltern (im driving to my parents) -basically any PERSONS or stores and stuff u gonna drive/go to).

its pretty common to say "ich gehe nach aldi (= super market)" i even once talked to sb that told me it was wrong to say "ZU aldi" xD

PM me for any questions u have on german grammar, i hope i can answer them xD

  • Actually, you would say:

Ich fahre am 25. Dezember nach Deutschland. - because of the Time Manner Place rule.

You also wouldn`t say "gehe" unless you are in a neighboring country and crossing the border by food. So, you would say "fahre" or "fliege".

  • oops, by foot of course.

  • Thank you so much! Now I finally understand the German Dative case! :)

  • Explained with MASTERLY simplicity! Vielen Dank!

  • danke ....danke shoen >..ich libe dich

  • i learned these by singing it like Frere Jacques tune. But in this order.

    An, auf, hinter~

    neben, uber~

    unter, vor~

    in, zwischen~

    thanks for this :)
