I totally agree...once in the Masjid it was Ramadan we went for taraweeh and they were selling islamic books I got so excited but they were so expensive I was bearly able to buy one and I was short only about a dollar or 50 cent and guess what? she didnt feel like giving it to me so my friend paid it the rest of it I wash shocked couldnt believe it may allah give them ensaaf heh

I live in a state where there are a lot of Somali Muslims and their are literally 15 halal stores in the same block so we get everything cheap and in comparative price. The products are charged higher because people will pay a premium for "halal" products, which may or may not be of the same quality of their non-halal alternatives. If there was a greater supply of halal products, then based supply and demand, the price should decrease.

Just a little word from someone with a little experience in this... I was in the business of books and oils for a little while, and it was impossible to get by even though I would sell them at 100% profit. This is because the market is not big enough, so even though the price is high the speed of the income is not very high usually. Also, because I was selling books, I would sell the books cheaper to those with less money, so that the knowledge would be spread.
In general though, this is a good video and the message is very beneficial al-hamdulillaah. I am just explaining what many people who run the businesses go through. Just to put it in perspective I had to abandon the business because it cost me my entire profit margin on the books in order to obtain them.

@anasjerome. there is the principle in islaam that an act of worship needs evidence from the Qur'an and Sunnah for it to be establihed, and no doubt dawah is an act of worship. Now, baba alis' "comedy" and acting, whatever you want to call it is his way of trying to give "dawah" has nor basis from the Quran and Sunnah, and Salaf. If you (anyone claming its ok) try to find any evidence from the Quran and Sunnnah and ijmaa of the salaf that this is the method of the Prophet in giving dawah!

I totally agree...once in the Masjid it was Ramadan we went for taraweeh and they were selling islamic books I got so excited but they were so expensive I was bearly able to buy one and I was short only about a dollar or 50 cent and guess what? she didnt feel like giving it to me so my friend paid it the rest of it I wash shocked couldnt believe it may allah give them ensaaf heh

actually I have to disagree with you.
I live in a state where there are a lot of Somali Muslims and their are literally 15 halal stores in the same block so we get everything cheap and in comparative price. I am guessing Muslims who live in place with Small Muslim community who don't have the a lot of option may pay a lot more for products they can other wise pay less for, however, it is not the same for everybody.

The products are charged higher because people will pay a premium for "halal" products, which may or may not be of the same quality of their non-halal alternatives. If there was a greater supply of halal products, then based supply and demand, the price should decrease.

@bhigr You are sadly misinformed. With (authentic) halal meat the animal is calmed and slaughtered by hand quickly so the animal feels minimal pain. If you ever see it being done in any other way it is not halal. Regardless of what they may claim.

Just a little word from someone with a little experience in this... I was in the business of books and oils for a little while, and it was impossible to get by even though I would sell them at 100% profit. This is because the market is not big enough, so even though the price is high the speed of the income is not very high usually. Also, because I was selling books, I would sell the books cheaper to those with less money, so that the knowledge would be spread.

On another note could you do a video on the hypocrisy of the French Govt. in banning Muslim Girls who were the headscrave at their public schools.
