Listening to Lisa and her band and other artist across the ocean is refreshing but sad as I think of our past. From the Duke, Count, Miles to EWF, The Wonder, Elvis, Anita Baker, Quincy, Teddy Riley, Prince, on and on. We had talent. The only artform going strong is Country and Rock, thank goodness for the listeners demanding quality in those fields. I am sick of this fake music call Rap. It is not music, period. Not a passage, dynamic, bridge, etc is known. It is cheap money.
America is caught up in the presentation instead of the talent. If an artist can't dance, shake an ass, move the feet then he or she is not accepted. James Brown & Michael Jackson are gone and dancing like that may not come around anytime soon. Having said that, everywhere else in the world still requires talent, singing, & playing an instrument. America is caught up in money & profits. Our music is tracks & yelling in the microphone. We don't sing let alone play instruments. We are failing
