I'm not saying any teams could be as big as OU/Texas, this is all operating under the assumption that Texas keeps the OU game as an OOC game every year if they went to the Big 10. OU has plenty of big games without Texas because unlike Texas we actually schedule quality non-conference opponents. And I never said it wasn't a big deal, but Texas doesn't hold the Big 12 together, and it'll move on without them if they want to leave. I know TCU isn't as big as Texas, but that's the school I see us taking if they leave.

One thing Nick, If Texas went to the Big 10 they would have a conference title game. That's the whole point of it. You have to have 12 teams to host one. The Big Ten wants to have a game in December so that it won't be forgotten when the SEC, Big XII, and ACC have theirs.
I think the horns are going to be somewhat decent next year, I mean Garret Gilbert stepped up against alabama, I think once he gets comfortable he's gonna do a lot for the longhorns, and colt mccoys brother probably will too, I don't think texas should leave the big 12 though, too much tradition to just leave...
