In the UK We go to preschool at age at 4ish then reception at 5 and start Primary school at 6. We go there till age 8 and then junior school till we're 11/12 and then high school till we're 16 at which point we go to college or sixth form for two years and then uni at 18. Is America different?

We start at the same age, the only difference is primary school is for ages 6 through age 10/11, junior high/middle school is from ages 12/13/14/15 (depends on the school district and area) and high school is from 14/15/16/17/18 (again depends on the school district) and after high school you can further your education in a college or university or you can just not go to school anymore.

In Barbados you can start nursery school at 3 mths old to primary school age( 4 years) but if your parents don't enroll you in a school by 5 they would be fined or arrested. primary school is from 4-11/12, then you go to secondary school from 12/13 to 15/16 (you can't drop out or your parents,again, would be fined/ arrested), then either 6th form, community college or straight to university

Don't worry, it's not that bad. I was listening to so many of these songs when I entered High School this year and it's a lot better than it's made out to be.
