@tukajanaa - yes ilayaraja used this for the pallavi of the song " Enda poovilum vaasam undu - Murattukalai". But this is the original one. Raja's is insipired from this. One of those few occasions when Raja has used a piece as it is from the inspiration. But if not, how wud we hav been introduced to such wonderful compositions !

Bravo! Very enjoyable. I have just started looking at this for grade 8, and it's a bit daunting! Can I ask: why have you chosen to play ponticello throughout? Clearly for someone of your standard, it is something you have considered, and decided that that is what you want to do. But in my experience, good classical players like yourself move around the strings a lot more during a piece (usually too much, for my tastes). I'd be interested to know your thoughts.
Hello, I choosed to play ponticello because I love the Yepes version of this one. And I think he plays ponticello during all the piece. But of course my version is bad near Yepes's one !
