Part of the reason for the existance of the paparazzi is to drive celebrites indoors as much as possible in order to keep them from hanging out with their fans as FRIENDS. How cool would it be if when we met our celebs we said "hey, what are we doing tonight" as opposed to "oh my god, I worship the ground you walk on!!" The entertainment industry purposefully keeps seperate fans and celebs for those reasons, but also to keep fans self-esteems as low as possible in the face of Glam-dom.

You have to understand something. Entertainment media is designed to keep fans worshipful of celebrities. When "stars" act "too much" like regular human beings, the entertainment media HATES that because it forms a bridge between fans and celebs. Imagine living in a world where fans and celebrities partied together at private residences, both fan and celeb. The media would have a stroke. Heath was a threat to the illusion that celebrities are larger than life mirages superior to you and I.

This video makes me angry. In my opinion, it's not Heath's fault he didn't like the paparazzi, of course not, they stole his privacy, and he was not that type of guy who wanted publicity just for the sake of it. That's how everyone should be.

Yes, this was 8, 9 months ago but come on, did Peter Ford really have to demean Heath in that way? He hated the media & interviews, he was always fidgety in them-so what? Shooting water pistols at an actor because of a rumour is pathetic. Being an Australian, it was sad that he left but it was definitely the right thing.

At times, it can get embarrassing when Australians love to claim celebrities like Naomi Watts, Heath Ledger, Nicole Kidman or Princess Mary saying "Our Heath" or "Our Nicole"

That entertainement reporter is full of shit.

What the hell is wrong with peeling a piece of fruit? He was FINE in the interview and the reporter is obviously friends with the chick who took the interview because she was abysmal. She told him she didn't think he was suited for the role and was completely annoying.

They need to understand what NERVES are and how they affect the way people ACT in confrontational situations. Not everyone is ALL OUT like them.
