  • Why did someone comment it's bad to shake the milk I think the way u did it is good what's the difffence if u don't pack the coffee grinds to packing them tight?

  • @BradAZ420 Yeah the shaker chills it completely in 3 or 4 seconds. Packing it tight is more of a comment on pulling a good shot of espresso. It's all about grind size cd tamp pressure. If it's not tight then water will find it's way out in channelled path and you coffee will come out fast and taste bitter due to under extraction.

  • @boxseven thanks box seven that helped me a lot I am finishing my coffee inmate and will make more when I'm done havented tamped the coffee my expresso machine didn't come with one so I will go buy one. Thanks for the info

  • Using the shaker to chill it quickly is a great idea.

  • youtaupposed to blend the ice and ingredients together then put whip cream thats how they make it and they put caramel and other things on top

  • A huge point you should make here is you absolutely must use ESPRESSO and not drip coffee. I've tried both and espresso is 1000 times better than drip coffee.

  • What I am doing is filling the mixer with ice also then flash cooling and mixing it at the same time. So chocolate, coffee, and milk in a glass, then shaken with ice, then poured over ice again. It makes it SUPER thick and about 34 degrees

    The main point of it is to keep as much ice from melting as possible. Even on yours i would recommend adding milk then ice last. Or buy a shaker and you will be shocked by the difference.

  • why did you put everything in the metal container and then pour it over the ice??

    I make these but I put the ice in first, then the mocha syrup over the ice, then 3 shots of espresso and top it off with milk. It tastes just like Starbucks, and cost about 60 cents. :)

    Anyway good video. Everyone who loves lattes from Starbucks, should learn how to make them from home, because it is soo easy and cost-friendly...especially if you're on a budget.

  • You have to get the mocha powder starbucks makes and then use a little water to combine with the powder and it turns it into a syrup.

    the powder is something like 7$ a can...on ebay you can buy a big bag of it for about $30.

    I use their powder and it's great!
