your sister is very good though im not a feis dancer i do traditional style of dancing and i think it is lovely to see a different style of dancing !

i am only at prizewinner now but i have competed in the europeins and all irelands and ulsters and i would love to get to the worlds some day! =]

it wasn't as good as it was in the movie, but a very good interpitation! I hope you and your sister continue to dance, and that you make it to worlds! Also, it would have been better if she had been more...fluid, i think is the word i want...in the begining she was...pronounced, and that made it look like work, not having fun...which is what irish dancing is -or at least it is to me! lol

Not to sound snotty because im not... if you read the comments it is 5 years well... 6 years old now... We've both been to the world championships several times ... lord of the dance isn't a movie ;) lol - me and my sister are both studying for our teachers certificate now ;) but cheers

Clickyfeet, not to be snotty but Lord of the Dance IS a movie! Look it up. Gillian Norris plays the temptress that your sister played. But she did a good job nonetheless! I sure as hell couldn't do that if I tried!

It is NOT a movie!

LOTD and FOF are DANCE SHOWS! They were just recorded (for publicity) Anyway, I saw LOTD last year and got both SHOWS on video!

Even the videos themselves state that LOTD is a SHOW and and NOT a movie!

@FlickyF There is no need for you to get uptight. What I meant was that-like you said-the show was recorded and put on video and dvd(hence, that is what I meant by saying movie). I guess I should have clarified that when I wrote my comment.

Absolutely marvelous footwork! But I believe you either have 'it' that makes you a good Morrighan, or you don't, and I kind of think your sister falls in the latter category-- by no means is any offense intended! She just is a bit lacking in facial expressions and she needs more 'oomph' in her arm movements-- more sensuality. Perhaps she'd be better for the role of Saoirse?

haha thats ok - this was a one of thing so we're not exactly performers - We're both doing our teachers at the moment and have finished competing. My sister was only a baby when she did that shes alot older now. Thank you for your comments though.

Ooo i hope you do well and get to the worlds some day :D its a brilliant experience. Me and my sister competed several time at the worlds - she missed a recall by 5 places and i got 14th at the worlds missing it by 2 places. Irish dancing is amazing and I'll always want to stay a part of it :D

Thank you! And well done to you! I also adore Irish dancing, but I enjoy the shows and using my hands more than competing. The only reason I'd want to go to Worlds is because you need to qualify for them in order to audition for Lord of the Dance. xD My sister and I also want to make our own Irish dance show in the future, so it's all shows for us!

oh no i know its not gypsy... i've just always called the girl gypsy. Its like a nick name hehe but i know its fiery nights and the girl that originally did it is called gillian Norris ;)

You sure can dance, very good, but Im sorry it wasn't sexy as gillian, but it was worth watching :) 5 stars rating

Thank you for the comment. This is my sister dancing 5 years ago. She has improved no end since. She has had top 10 placings of judges at the world championships and we are both in a different dance school now. Thank you for the comment :D
