The scene @ 5:32-5:36 (where George caught on fire & Junior puts it out with gas, causing George to blow up & be burnt to a crisp) would never make it past the censors.

It's a good thing that was released in 1995, bc it would've not made it to the pilot stage say 5-10 years later

George and Junior are a rip off of George and Beanie from Robert Mckimson's Cat Tails for Two. Nonetheless this is still a good cartoon. Not as good as the stuff made in the Golden Age(which it's obviously a tribute to), but about a hundred times better than the stuff Cartoon Networks putting out today.

@Liciul Yes. They were in Robert Mckimson's Merrie Melodies cartoon Cat Tails for Two which can be viewed here: watch?v=zAD1ooHMooA They may be in some other Mckimson stuff. However since I wrote that comment I figured out this is actually a Revival of Tex Avery's George and Juniors MGM cartoons of the '50's. The two pairs are virtually the same characters.
