Do you have any suggestion for a homeowner that only wants to build a new home and wire it himself? I would hope to spend less to know what is required for a homeowner to comply with regulations than what it would cost to hire an electrician. I enjoy your videos even though I am not in the field. I have learned A LOT from these YouTube videos you have posted. I am subscribed so I don't miss your new uploads. Thanks
It is a shame that this has to be so complicated. I am a do it yourselfer and only want to be able to work on my own home and some day maybe build another home. It is getting so ridiculous that I may not be able to do my own work because it could take me the rest of my life to find out what is correct. That may be an exaggeration but it is not that far off. So Sad what has come of code. I know it claims to protect but the best protection is to refuse to use electricity, that would do it.
