@songbox123 Well, that really depends on the book. I'm reading a book right now called Virals, and it's taken me like 3 days to read half of it. But when I read Nevermore by Kelly Creagh... it took like two days to read the entire thing. So I guess it depends on how good the book is and what mood I'm in =P
Have you ever read anything by christopher moore? He is hillllarrrious. His book You Suck is amazing. And it is nothing at all like anything you're thinking, no cheesy vampire mush :)

Forbidden is heartbreaking. It truly is. I wasn't sure if I'd like it but I did. Just be warned, when you're finished, it will remain with you for weeks. It's really not as creepy as it is sad. You'll see. :)

I like the House of night series the second is my fave though I often find that the story line peaks and dips. I like the look of the Tales of the otori. Forbidden sounds a little like Boku wa Imōto ni Koi o Suru by Aoki Kotomi she is a really good mangaka my favourite piece by her is Boku no Hatsukoi o Kimi ni Sasagu.

Urgh! Forbidden... I couldn't get past the first 50 pages because the author was just so pretentious in her presentation of lower class people living in Britain, it was so stereotypical, and the dialogue was unrealistic when you considered the class of the people she was writing about. It made me mad that someone could write about such a serious topic with such little regard of social context. I will give it another try but It's so frustrating!!

Wow! You have quite a haul. I loved the Da Vinci code but it's quite a beast of a book. I want to read Across the Universe. I stopped reading the Marked series after Hunted, but it was pretty good!

@MaxieMagyx ah dude, you have to read Flowers in the attic at least. Its book 1 to a whole series of incest :D In the first book 4 kids get locked up in an attic for years by their grandmother. The eldest siblings fall in love. Very weird/interesting book
Forbidden is amazing, it's one of those books that like... tears you apart. I got my best friend to read it and she went from being grossed out by the idea of the subject matter, to being outraged that there is a law against what happens in the book and that people can get thrown in jail for it (I get the whole law against them having kids, but not against them just being together).
Is your copy of Across the Universe the ARC version, it looks different from the hardcover finished copy?

Also, you should read "Revolution," by Jennifer Donnelly. I wasn't expecting it to be good, but I just finished it and it was absolutely incredible. I'm not a big fan of historical fiction, but this book's worth reading. :)

As You Wish is a really cute read. And I LOVE Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side. It's one of the few books I can reread. It's definitely not as...Twilight-ish as it seems. And I'm super excited for the sequel.

I've heard so much about Revolution. I just didn't think it was for me, seeing as it's historical.... But you're saying it's good anyway? Well, apparently it's out in paperback, so I'll definitely put it on my to-read list =)

As You Wish is a really cute read. And I LOVE Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side. It's one of the few books I can reread. It's definitely not as...Twilight-ish as it seems. And I'm super excited for the sequel.
