Main element would be storytelling, then of course having the ability to lay out the thoughts in a multi syllable rhyme scheme. Freestyling of course is where talent is key. If most rappers possessed these abilities there wouldn't be as much crappy rap music. Rap is difficult to master. It is complex.

@tylercloer2. Tell you what man. Ill lay off this song because it wasn't written for me it was written for his fans. However my statements about the quality of this are still strong in my mind. Also I want you to understand I don't hate Wayne, I don't think he can rap. Wayne build his notoriety by claiming he is "best rapper alive". That means he represents the genre. So for people who love rap and understand that Waynes appeal is nothing more than imagery this is upsetting. Hate isn't blind.

@sickpropensity To me one of the most beautiful things about rock is a bands ability to perform together. That's great. But what makes rap complex is different than what makes rock music complex. Main element would be storytelling, then of course having the ability to lay out the thoughts in a multi syllable rhyme scheme. Freestyling of course is where talent is key. If most rappers possessed these abilities there wouldn't be as much crappy rap music. Rap is difficult to master. It is complex.

@tylercloer2. Tell you what man. Ill lay off this song because it wasn't written for me it was written for his fans. However my statements about the quality of this are still strong in my mind. Also I want you to understand I don't hate Wayne, I don't think he can rap. Wayne build his notoriety by claiming he is "best rapper alive". That means he represents the genre. So for people who love rap and understand that Waynes appeal is nothing more than imagery this is upsetting. Hate isn't blind.

By the sounds of the concept of this song his verses should carry the emotion required for what he is trying to say. I don't know how he managed to keep the mood of this piece anything but boring. What does he display in his verse that makes this a notable piece of rap music? Nothing, and its streamlined

@tylercloer2. I would not have such a strong opinion against the song unless I've heard it. Also understand that the song is referred to as Stan 2 because that was the concept. Like I said before, this song does not create any emotional relation with the listener and the character. Wayne continues to show a pattern of basic rhyming and it comes off boring. The similes are elementary leveled. He shows no making of a good poet.Not in this or any of his songs. What's the argument FOR Wayne? Nothing
