you know you don't have to use the cannon to get to the first star. all you have to do is go down to the area with the coin block and stand just so that your not quite under the platform with star, but just to the right and run, jump, wall jump off the wall and angle mario to the left. it couldn't get more simple. : )

U know if u fall from a high height u will take not damage if u switch cams from cloud to mario to cloud or starting from mario to cloud to mario cam really fast right before hitting the ground u will take NO damage whatsoever THUMBS UP so he can see :)

I never figured out the wall blasting mission either, until I noticed something at the ending, I had to watch the ending thoroughly to notice that there a missing piece on that part of the wall and that there was a star in it. I of course tried it and to my surprise, it was no graphic glitch and was something I had to do. How could ANYONE find that before beating the game!?

You don't see stars like "Blasting through the wall" in the new mario games. The stars in this games were insanely more cleaver then in the newer games.

talking about speed runs i beat super mario wii RLLY fast. all u have to do is go to the third lv in world 1. find the secrett and use the cannon to world six go thro world 6 and find the cannon and then shoot to world 8 and finish that one. and theres a secret to skip to the end :D
