Im black I say the N word to my black frienz cuz we're just joking around. But I do get offended wen white ppl say it to me because it feels like their labeling me becuase im a different color!
My issue with the word and when other use it especially whites is that I don't use it and I am black, I am just not fan of the word. There is too many emotions behind the word in general. Just because people decided to over use it doesn't make it hurt any less when someone calls you a nigger. Growing up in white communities I have been called that more then once. So I don't think anyone should say it.

I think the question is more like why doesn't the black friend have other words in his vocabulary and basic social judgment. I have a problem when that white person calls me "nigga" and expects me to be okay with it because his black friend is.
