i love how its called anacondas but it shows the body or a python on the cover. The First Anaconda movie is the only one I consider being a real Snake movie. I Think of Anacondas as a separate series because they were sooo bad.

The first movie with J. Lo was surely the best. Look at 1:19, they did a good job on the Anaconda to give it at least a realistic look (okay, except the glowing dragon-eyes, but it's a Creature Feature, not the Discovery Channel), and compare it with the other awful "serpentoids" cranked out of some CGI-software in the crappy sequels.

Snakes on a Train is the worst snake movie in the world to this day (YES !!! Snakes on a Train is a real movie) .. its made by a mockbuster company called The Asylum and they rip-off new films that come out in theaters .. they have produced such hits as TERMINATORS, Alien v Hunter , Mega Piranha , Mega Shark v Giant Octopus , Transmorphers etc ..

I actually liked King Cobra. I thought the snake in that movie was more threatening than the Anaconda. The main problem I have with the movie as that there is absolutely no logic to it. The story itself is a rip-off of JAWS. And the "duel" between Pat Morita and the snake was just ridiculous. Not to mention Scott Hillenbrand's character drop kicking the snake. Regardless of it flaws, it's still a fun movie to watch in my opinion.

I like snake films but there are not enough good ones, but yes I agree anaconda 1 & 2 were cool, but the others were crap I enjoyed the snake in Boa, but the story was the same as any-other giant snake film, I quite liked Python, but I hated the sequel, heres all the snake films I know: Python 1 & 2, Boa, Boa vs python, King Cobra, Komodo VS cobra, anaconda 1,2,3 & 4, Megasnake, snake island, Vipers, Silent Venom, Silent Predadors, Constrictor, Copperhead, Basilisk: the serpent king and Snakeman

NONE! LOL. I really didn't enjoy any snake movies, especially when I would go do shows for kids and they'd be freaking out thinking every boa or python was an Anaconda that had the potential to get 1000's of feet long. Or that the little Ball Python was a deadly poisonous adder. UGH. The movies should be shown to the people that are ok with reptiles... the people who aren't usually think those SCI-FI shows are documentaries, and it freaks them out more!
