Becky i challenge you, as someone who is not a big football fan to rent this movie, watch it and NOT cry as some point in it...its a very emotional flick and even people who care not for football love this one because its message is not about football, its about overcomming adversity against all odds

yep, im an old fart. thanks for the compliment....i was told because of the bad weather it came approached a tad too soon and clipped the trees short of the landing strip/runway. i guess i need to look into that.
yah, that was tough. i was only 3 when it happened, but as i got older, by the age of 9 or 10, i remember to this day people talking about it. i used to spend alot of time in huntington. in fact, my mother is buried in the same cemetary thats in the movie....

BVD, go get the documentary From Ashes to Glory.' Its the story of Marshall. Very touching...
The plane was only about 10 seconds from landing but clipped the edge of a mountain in Cereda Kenova, I believe.
BVD, never would have guessed you were born in 67. You look much younger.
