i dont understand why in america wheat is cut before the combine picks it up? too much fuel perhaps?

Why did you refer this as ethanol. Corn comes to my mind?

@pridification This is soft white wheat. It is used to produce Ethanol at the Husky Mowhawk plant in Minnedosa, Manitoba.

@pridification You're welcome, and thank you! Yes, we have about 3' of snow on the ground, on top of wet soil... hoping for a dry spring.!
