I am only 15 but, i have always thought it would be fun to be a model. and I was wondering if you could tell me how to start, or maybe things I could practice.
you give me insperation to continue modeling. I have a sever medical condition and have done one real photo shoot am thinking about doing more. This has helped me. You say that lots of places are scams. Where do you find real photoshoots to audition for?

Hi I just want to say I am an aspiring model as well. I have been modeling since 2008 and have been featured in different online magazines and I just wanted to tell you that you def have learned a lot in a short period of time. God Bless you and keep on pushing. Definitely come check us out at dailyvenusdivadotcom if you haven't been there already and visit plusmodelmagazine for more info if you haven't already! Wishing you the best!
Congratulations on your success! You do have some great advice to share about your personal experience and for a model or aspiring model out there wondering how to get started; being informed it the key. The more you can learn the better. There is a new book out and available on Amazon "The Ultimate Beginner's Guide to Modeling" , it helps to answer questions, disprove myths, avoid scams, and point new models in the right direction for a successful career. Lot's of luck with yours!!
Congrats on your weight loss first of all. I am a Working Model 5 years in the business and I just wanted to correct some of your advice. First I want to say that joining Model Mayhem and all those other sites are NOT going to help. professional agents are NOT on those sites, those are people posting photos just to get attention and most are NOT working.
The reality is the industry is NOT right for most people and they are not going to get an agent and work consistently. Good Luck to you
It really is different with everyone's unique situation. Although agencies are not making profiles its a great source to network and to possibly get in touch with the right people (not just agents). I never said you would get signed through MM and also I stated not to hold on to my ever word cause as you know how changing this industry is.
Thank you for commenting most definitely, I wanted to response just to clarify...no pun intended. Good luck to you as well, 5 years is definitely respect :)
Oh yeah I couldn't write everything I wanted because it had a limit. What I was saying about those sites are that they are full of people that are most likely not in the business. Once and a while you can get in touch with someone legit but it's best to leave that alone. Also I have great friends we are all with different agencies in NYC and we all respect each other, I don't know those crazy ones haha! Try the legit plus agencies and be realistic too
Lol, I hear you. Well I will definitely take that into consideration but I think I'll find my way if it was meant to happen. Anyways, I do know all about scams (as I mentioned that too) but finding a good agent is definitely a matter of location and having what they want. From my experience, I think its a little harder as a plus model because its a new completely different market. I appreciate you taking the time to write, trying to help a follow model out, Thank you girl!!!!
Hey! awsome video! I was interested is on how do you get started? I mean where do you find out about the castings and things like that? Do you have an agent or do you do it by yourself?
Great video you gave some very good advice. My only advice it not to shoot any more videos in your bed room
