  • You all need to read what the studies really say about breastfeeding! The studies are inconclusive at best. You all regurgitate what you hear in magazines actually read the studies please.

  • Wow props to you!!! I am proud 2 say that I have breastfeed both of my kids. My 1st child is now 7yrs old , @ 1st it was very difficult. She had a hard time latching on but I manage n she was breastfeed up to the age of 1. Never gave her a bottle. Now w/ my 2nd child he is 10 months old . He was premie but w/ a normal full term weight. It was painful when he would latch so i pumped. Very tuff every1 said i was crazy but @ 9ms now is latchn great n no need to pump anymore. HEALTHY

  • my daughter is just now weaning after 18 months of breastfeeding. 21 months is great. :) it's nice to see young moms BFing longer now.

  • I think formula is the wrong way to go.. Most people don't want to breastfeed because it makes ur boob a little saggy.. Umm hello pregnacy does that too.. I'm glad I'm breastfeeding I don't go down stairs and make a bottle my baby girl doesn't get colic.. So thanks for the video.. Hopefully every one that watches this breastfeeds. My baby is 3 months I still have a way to go(more months)hehe lol.. Thanks for sharing ur story.

  • how long did you breastfeed your son?

I'm getting ready to be a new mom and this is my first child, I'm have a boy! I plan on breastfeeding him and I'm a little nervous, I want to be able to breastfeed him at least until he's 12 months but I know a couple of people who only breastfed their children for like a month or maybe three or four months. But I think they were only able to feed that long because they were stressed, but im not really sure. So if u culd help id appreciate it!

  • I breastfeed for 21 months. It is a little stressful at first but you can do it!!! You just have to commit yourself and its really not hard to do when you look into your little baby boy's eyes because you only want to give them the best. Sccastaneda has a brestfeeding group on yahoo and it is so helpful!! You should totally join!!! Im on there too. :)

  • Wow, that's really great! I'm hoping I can do the same but if not 12 months will def. be good enough for me lol. So you never had to use formula? A lot of the women in my family and some close friends I feel like r discouraging me from breastfeeding by constantly talking about how I wont like it and ill end up switching to fromula, I just feel like I have no support to breastfeed my child for at least 12 months lol. Could you send me the link to her group please? Thank you so much!

  • Some women do discourage it which is sad. I personally think the reason is because they didnt do it or gave up and wish they had. lol. My mother was the same way. She had 5 kids and never breastfed any of us and she told me I shouldnt breastfeed. Its not easy the first couple months but if you make it past that it is such a breeze and actually really enjoyable. You have that special bond with your child that no one else has. There are also sooo many reason to do it.

  • Not only is breast milk the best food you can give your baby, its free! Formula is so expensive! Plus breastfeeding helps you lose that baby weight so fast. In the side bar of this video there is a link to the group. I really encourage you to join. It is so helpful to new mommys. Plus Im on there alot so we can talk more :)

  • I didnt know she had a contest goung can you tell me a little about her contest???love the vid!

  • yourr son is so beautiful *-* & so are you :) xoxo greets from germany

  • aww thank you so much!! You are a sweetheart! :)

  • My daughters now 8 months. I got very discouraged ad had to stop. So is it possible to start after stopping for like 6 months now. Okay please let me know.

  • Yes it is possible to start breastfeeding again. It may be a little work though to get your milk supply back up. Your going to want to put your baby to the breast as often as possible or pump. The suckling causes your body to start producing more milk.

  • There are also Supplemental Nursing Systems (Medela makes one) in which a bottle hangs around your neck and there is a tube that you place to your breast so you know your baby is getting enough milk and it is stimulating your own milk production at the same time. You might want to look into that as well. I wish you the best and even if it is a little hard at first don't give up because it is possible!! There are adoptive mothers who breastfeed even!!! Isn't that amazing?! Good Luck :)

  • omg, you lost a lot of weight. lol

and your son is so adorable:)

  • Thank you!! Yeah he is my little sunshine :)

  • No breastfeeding video, why?

  • I'm actually a member of a breastfeeding support group. I no longer breastfeed (my son is 3 now) but I just wanted to share my story to encourage other moms no matter what obstacles they may face that breastfeeding is still an option and that they can do it :) Are you a breastfeeding mom?

  • Do you have advice for girls who are in the military and want to have a baby but don't know when to because of their chances to be deployed. Also how much money should a person save back before having a baby. I know these questions are kinda weird but I wanna want some insight

  • I'll send you a personal message on this one! lol.
