  • beavers prove existence of god. how can an animal 'evolve' to be dam builder?

  • @awesome220 The same way that we did. I don't think your a fool to say this. but rather, that most people who question evolution never learnt it, or don't understand it.

  • @kit763 So evolution taught them to build a dams?

  • @awesome220 i donno i heard of this one animal called humans n they built a shitload of dams.

  • @awesome220 humans...animals...dam builder? ughh nevermind

  • Why does a beaver want to build dams, why the interest in cutting off water?

  • @79Testo He kind of explains at the beginning I think: to make the pond/body of water deeper and flood the woods around them so they can easily access trees and quickly get back in water. Otherwise they would have to go on land to get food walk quite a ways to trees and then go back to the stream. Saves them lots of time!

  • @79Testo he just explained it, cover, transportation and so on

  • this is the best ten minutes found on youtube, the music, the amazing clips and Davids voice combined perfectly

  • Beavers are really badass animals

  • So fat and fluffy. <3

  • manipulating nature instead of controlling it, we have a lot to learn

  • @horbergaren I thought the beavers were trying to control nature, they seem like little industries buggers.

  • WHO THE FUCK DISLIKED THIS!

  • @Dwizzle5291 hahahah just rattled

  • I have beavers in my stream there so amazing and annoying they flooded my yard and my airsoft field

  • I think if the beavers knew David Attenborough, they would bring out the whole family and have their photos taken with him.

  • Brilliant capture!

...I'm curious to know how long before the lights were covered

thank-you for sharing these moments of nature's creatures working together in such graceful harmony

  • I want one

  • Beevers are so cool. You know, they kind of look like most contractors I know. Lol.

  • A beautiful and amazing piece of film. I remember seeing it on TV, so am pleased to see it here and save it to my "favourites." The musk rat phenomenon is not new though. I have a book from my teenage years which documents the same thing. "A Beaver's Story," by Emil E.Liars. Thanks so much for this.

  • This is amazing! Definitely represents to me at least the beauty of nature :)

  • These clips are amazing.

  • As long as we remember that the Universal Intelligence is not "Us," we'll be OK.

  • Pretty Cool

  • I love beavers. Anyone know where to find them in England?

  • The American beaver's ability to nibble wood demonstrates the stunning adaptability of these amazing mammals....poetry, pure poetry. There is nothing like a soaking wet beaver nibbling some wood.

  • pervert

  • What?! lol

  • Pure phallic poetry

  • Beaver lodge has got to be the coolest dwelling space of all animal creatures. I keep wondering when Pixar's gonna do a Beaver movie.

  • @derpenstein

Open Season had beavers in it, though, that's not a Pixar movie.

  • Beavers FTW makes me proud to be Canadian boyee!

  • ... too bad these are american beavers. BUT YEAH GO CANADA

  • I think beavers would be a really interesting animal to watch in nature over a period of time if you have a lake or something near your backyard.

  • wow amazing animals and looove the ending xD

  • wow, that was great.

  • Sometimes, when I take the train, I see beaver dams in the woods. It's interesting how some of them look more "professionally" done than others: older, more experienced beavers, perhaps?

  • BEAVERS ARE FUCKING SICK

  • Sir Attenborough's commentary makes it ever more so interesting and easier to understand animal behaviour.
