ah, i hated this as a kid.
your parents would tell you to jump in, we won't move. so you do it, and as your swimming toward them, they move back little by little. ARGH!
smart kids though. :3

its harder to learn to swim the older you get, its instict from being in the womb for 9 months.

18 months, but after a winter of no swimming he forgot it all and will need refresher course in the spring.
