@ both n3o and insain: Two jumps has always been the limit. However, the thing I was talking about, which is jump + MotK, switch, jump can yield decent height too (or jump + MotK, switch, jump + MotK, glide).
Aha! got it. So it's not really that efficient, I guess. Only advantage being that ascension makes Kratos move forward a bit and can be tricky if you're on a narrow ledge or something.
Ascension is immune to gravity: you can walk straight past the ledge with impunity. But like all lauches, it takes about a second to resolve, and in case of low ledges, it would be faster to use a normal jump + MotK, etc.
Wow.

PR FAIL.
0:25. That was never going to work. MotK from an Icarus Lift.
Weird stuff, my old disc was a little dodgy around the TMIII area.

Perhaps, but if it would've worked, it would've saved time. Going to see if some other semi-low ledges could be got to without launches.

I was under the impression that H/IJ had to be from a launch. Otherwise you just get the "Blades Sledge effect"
addaminsain 2 years ago
Nah. A mere jump + MotK can get quite high, and it can be followed by a new jump like usual.

I sit corrected

which makes me wonder what I was doing wrong with DJ+MotK as I kept getting the 'Blades Sledge' effect ):

No offence to AKheon but I was certain Ascension was required.
Otherwise the IJ would be a matter of doublejump, MotK, doublejump, Motk and this is not the case.
Am I missing something?
