I dont understand- the presenter is siiting in the plane with a full rig on and then he does his first dive as a tandem??? :S

At Elsinore, nobody gets on a plane without at least an observer's rig on.

Probably cause he was shooting B role in the plane.  Then they edited to his jump.

Also, he's just wearing a t-shirt when he's in the plane but they show him later with a full jump suit; I suspect that he did a ride-along then went back up for the tandem.

that was just for shooting pple exiting i guess, the FAA requires all pple on a plane with the door open to be wearing a rig so even though he had no plans of jumping he was probably still required to wear one for the shot.
