I too am in the south (Pensacola, FL). I've got 4 rhizomes (Cascade) in pots that I started back in November 2011. It's now January 2012 and the little guys are doing well. My biggest concern is where to plant as the southern exposure of my yard is probably just too hot (even with a neat automated watering system). Any advice? Also have been warned about potential for fungus attacks down here. Any experience with that? Great vid. Thanks!!

Hi, I just watched this video. I live in Alabama and am very interested in how these plants turned out.

Wish I could grow hops in NYC. Good luck with yours. Check out my channel and subscribe if you like what you see. Cheers!

Ingenious watering setup, +/- 4 hours of direct sun a day should be perfectly adequate.
I live in the Southern Californian Desert, so my hope is for a greenhouse someday.

Thanks! Cheap and easy!
I doubt I will see many hops this year. I'm just hoping to keep it alive in hopes for next year. :)
