  • Estos son los lao shih verdaderos . no los que se nombran asi mismo.

  • She is very good.

Do you know the name of this taolu? Someone knows?

  • This makes me smile. :-)

  • This form isn't just good...it's monumental.

Her footwork isn't anything short of AMAZING.

Very fluid with her sword motions, as well...if she were still alive, I can [safely] say she would carve us up in a fight.

  • i think her father is known for a martial arts master

  • @lennix25536 her father was the founder of the latest of the main family branches of Tai Chi Fist. He was also a master of Ba Qua, Xing Yi and had great skill in Northern Shaolin before going to the internal systems.

  • the fact that she can swing the sword in such motions, for that amount of time, at that age is amazing

  • For those that don't know, this woman was Sun Lu Tang's daughter. Sun Lu Tang was a Xing Yi, Bagua, and Tai Chi master and founder of Sun-style Tai Chi. Sun Jian Yun was a master of her father's Tai Chi and Bagua (I don't know about Xing Yi).

Put simply, this is not just some old woman. Show some respect.

  • I've come to find she did indeed do Xing Yi as well.

  • It is a pity lady Sun already passed away.. those guys that say her bagua "was not very good" probably come from the olympic flashy crap and can't do as half as good in the traditional.

  • not everything what is "flashy" is bad... for instance i like chen xiaowang and his taiji, i think his taiji is very nice, beutiful but also traditional... i must say that i dont like these new forms, where is a lot of jumping and balance movements...

  • its great that the elderly can get out there and stay healthy, also top notch form there with the sword, espeically for an elderly person, the form itself is awesome, walking in circles is great especially if you know what your doing

  • Wow...amazing forms. If you guys look carefully at each movement, the circular swordplay and stepping allowed for both defense and offense. Truely a traditional form (combat effective), no wushu bullshit. Love it!

  • Fascinating. People who don't know what to look for, even those who think they do, will miss the point. They are to be disregarded.

  • thats real kung fu, sons. what you expected something flashy. there is timimng and possitioning in that form as well as the footwork

  • that was tight. bravo. wanna see more.

  • LOL hahaha

  • She was indeed truly great. :-D

  • not very good

  • what do you mean not very good

  • her stepping was very stiff and awkward

    very little intention or poise

  • do you practice bagua? remember that shes elderly and may have bad knees!?

  • i have done before

and just becaus she is old does not stop what i was saying being true

put simply it wasnt very good

  • What? i must seek an authority in the said matter. i was simply asking for your insight and perhaps wisdom yet i am disatisfied and quite put off by your aloof demeanor. besides age is a factor as i have seen in various if not all masters of what ever field of endeavor. especially driving. this will be my last comment regardless.

  • cool i loved it =)

  • 有点其 貌不扬..!!!

  • ???????????????

  • 静若处子,动如脱兔,传统的功夫就是有点其貌不扬,却招招实在,朴素无华。
