Shadow would rely on nothing but brute force while Sonic would outsmart him. even if you want to go in terms of who's stronger Sonic could just become Hyper Sonic. Shadow can't go any higher than Super Shadow.

I'm a Shadow fan, I enjoyed SA2 & Shadow the hedgehog (2005) and I think he's also badass whatever game he's in but Seriously I thinik Sonic would win due to statistics not just because he's the hero. Silver might be able to defeat him by chance though...

@BOXINGMAN127 Shadow has the ability to control time so he can make things move slower obviously, and Shadow is just as fast as Sonic. Shadow has more abilities and skills than Sonic, Shadow can also use weapons and use vehicles. Based on my opinion I just think Shadow would beat Sonic. The only thing Sonic has is speed and in order for him to go hyper sonic or super sonic he would need all of the chaos emeralds. But don't get me wrong Sonic is pretty bad ass.

@bedvd01 We ALL have our opinions but the only person to kill Sonic was Mephiles and Silver came VERY close not like I'm defending Sonic.

What abilities has Shadow got that Sonic hasn't? Besides Chaos Blast,Sonic has an equilvelent for each of them. Chaos Spear=Sonic Wind,Black Tornado=Blue Tornado, haos Lance=Sonic Boom.

Shadow isn't as fast sonic. Sonic can reach 780mph while shadopw can only reach 750mph only faster if he uses chaos control. Silver can beat Sonic because of his PSI powers.

@BOXINGMAN127 Well I just think that if Shadow can beat Mephile than I'm sure he can destroy Sonic especially since Sonic doesn't have the correct powers to destroyed Mephiles. But who cares, Shadow and Sonic are friends the chances of them ending up killing each other are very small. Shadow saved Sonic once and I think Sonic saved Shadow once.

If not, then that was SEGA's excuse for Shadow's boss fight that many fans would and have loved to relive. They needed some reason, just like Silver's, which pretty much had no reason. He just said "let's fight" and boom, you guys fought in Crisis City.

Meaning, if they were to fight, it probably would not start that way. Just look at any animes or shows you might watch and how they have fillers; the characters are still who they are but the events that take place play no role in their character development because none of it is real.
