@atlasdguad77 that's the point of the Dream Act, if a person is smart and able enough to graduate from an ivy league school then s/he will be granted citizenship, under the premise that they stay and work in the country. Listen, I'm neither for or against the Dream Act, to be perfectly honest I don't know much about. Something I really think you should do is read up on American economy and realize that immigrants contribute A LOT more than one would think. EDUCATION IS KEY IN LIFE!!!!

that may be how they do it in the south west but here in mid-Michigan there's plenty of whites and blacks available to do the jobs that you feel that are best suited for Mexicans. Actually the Dream Act would violate already-existing federal law, which says it's a CRIME to aid or abet, or to encourage or harbor, an illegal alien.

So all universities and other schools harboring illegal aliens should be PROSECUTED, and fined $5,000 EACH illegal, and made to pay alll deportation costs.

Actually, the DREAM Act would apply to far more than "the best and the brightest." It doesn't require that a person have good grades. It doesn't require that the student finish college. It doesn't even require that a person have a H.S. Diploma. The DREAM Act extends as far as illegals who got GED's.

i know. i go to uc davis, and someone who is supposed to be an 'advisor' sent me this calling it 'inspiring'. i told her exactly what i thought it was. this is all such a huge insult to me. my husband immigrated here from Palestine. it took us 1.5 years to get it done the right way and almost ruined our marriage. i literally spent entire days on the phone with immigration. and here these people who jumped over some border one day think they deserve amnesty and acceptance

Tell me about it. My wife is from Japan. We're both professionals but the inspection/interviews we endured from the USCIS was like a cavity search. The misplaced sense of entitlement these law breakers or law violation beneficiaries have is astounding to me.
